Awesome quality of food. After reading some other reviews it seems some people are not happy with the customer service... I honestly think it's a culture thing. Argentinians are not Americans, we're usually not super cheerful lol. My experience was great, the person working there was welcoming and very nice to us. We had empanadas, sánguches de miga & alfajores de Maicena. No complaints at all. Found out that it's not a restaurant, but we were still able to sit down and eat our empanadas. Will definitely go back before leaving town, Yerba selection is outstanding.

While I was finalizing a purchased at "Bodegón Del Sur" the owner an Argentinian man yelled over my shoulder:"SEÑORA, QUÉ SE METIÓ EN LA CARTERA!" The owner's accusatory tone of voice was harsh and disrespectful, implying a certainty of the accusation of theft: "LADY, WHAT ARE YOU STEALING!" The owner's failure to apologize only worsened the situation, as he continued with the same tone of voice and arrogant defensive manner: "ESTOY PROTEGIENDO MI NEGOCIO" ("I AM PROTECTING MY BUSINESS"). The lady customer was mortified, infuriated , and proceeded to empty her small purse values onto the counter in protest, asserting her innocence and gave the Argentinian owner a piece of her mind: “How dare you accuse me of stealing! I am not a thief!” Previously, Lady customer had tried to use her VISA OBT Credit Card and after the pay-system declined the purchase; she moved away from the counter to allow the next transaction. Therefore, the lady customer had proceeded to put her credit card back inside her small purse. Hence, this review is more focusing on a perceived misconception by the owner /staff of Bodegon Del Sur: Towards a Hispanic customer who was attempting to purchase food with OBT (SNAP/EBT) Benefits. The lack of remorse for the wrongful accusation leaves much to be desired of the owners of Bodegon Del Sur.

Amazing place for original Argentinian food. Their meats are brought directly from Argentina and if you cook it, how they recommend you will never buy another cut of meat anywhere else again. Amazing staff! Super knowledgeable in what they are selling. They're frozen Pizzas are amazing!!! You definitely have to give this place a try. You will be blown away by the original foods and flavors.
