Blackjacks Bar and Grill

Went to watch the Texans kick butt. They did. Very friendly place. Free buffet 4 pm until 7 pm. Offered us jello shots for Texas touchdowns!!!!..... Great TVs, pool tables, etc. Easy parking.

Love this place it’s a relaxed dive bar they have Texas hold them every Wednesday and Saturday. They also have blackjack and pool tournaments. The drinks are always well made and prices are fair, food is good too

The atmosphere is good if you’re okay with people smoking indoors. Lots of TVs to watch games. The service was very slow because the bartender was so busy watching the football games that we could only get her attention during commercials, but she was sweet and apologetic. The food: absolute worst bar food I’ve ever had in my life, and ridiculously over-priced. $15 for a pick-3 appetizer combo, and it came with only 3 pcs of mozzarella sticks. The onion rings were so undercooked that there was raw batter inside! The potato skins were humorously tiny- I got 2.5 baby potatoes for $8. And they were overcooked so they were dry and tasteless. We were going to order entrees but after seeing the state of the appetizers, we left and went elsewhere. I get that it’s a neighborhood dive bar, but to charge that much for extremely poor food quality and minuscule portions is just wrong.

Decided to stop in to have a few beers for my birthday, came in at 1:10AM thinking I’ll be good for a couple brews. Most of the bar seating was taken so I sat at the table by the bar and went unattended for about 15 minutes until one of the bartender taking out trash finally asked was I ok. I replied yes I’d like to have a drink and she said that it’s preferred to go to the bar since they are getting ready to close and it’s only 2 of them. She offered to get my drink then told me they are in the process of closing so no open tabs. Didn't ask me if I liked my beer dressed and gave me a room temp beer. I know they don’t care but they won’t be seeing me here again

The food is delicious and the service is very friendly. I love this place.
