This place is the real deal. Amazing service and food! We had the mozzarella sticks, a thin crust white pizza and a Katy dough "meat lovers" style and a Chicago dog. All were awesome. Fav was the dog and the white pizza. They also have a great beer selection and local whiskey as well. Can't wait to go back!

I’m originally from Chicago (Logan Square) and I can finally say I had a good pizza in Texas. We ordered a deep dish pizza and an Italian beef. Our friends ordered a thin crust pizza. I felt that I was having a pizza from back home. All three things tasted great. I’ll definitely be coming back. I’ll need to try their gyros. If you’re from Chicago and miss eating a good pizza, please visit Big Z’s. Not only the food was amazing, it has a good ambiance as well. We drove from Spring to Katy just for the pizza and I’ll be going back soon. 👍🏼👍🏼

I found it! I found my Chicago style deep dish in the Houston area after 2 years of searching 🙌🏼 ever since leaving Chicago, the one thing that has been a real struggle to find is GOOD pizza. So glad I stumbled across this place and decided to make the drive from Spring to their location. Would definitely recommend and will absolutely go again!! The absolute only thing I’d make note of is that I feel like my guest and I were forgotten about a few times. Had to ask a couple times to get a new drink, “hey man, I think you forgot about my drink”. Then, since I was driving I limited my alcohol consumption and when he asked if I wanted another I said No, and he just took my glass and didn’t even offer me anything else like water or anything haha. So I was without a drink for a good portion of my dinner. Either way, still gets 5 stars because the pizza was awesome, the atmosphere was great and even though there were a few small hiccups, it is what it is. Will be back and would recommend

Great diamond of a find. Their Godfather pan pizza (crust was great ) was awesome and the smoked wings were truly smoked goodness. Will be adding to our routine now for sports, pizza, and wings, as well as go after the beef sandwich and their 1/4 lb hotdog when he gets it back in. Great supporter of local brews on tap as well as an overall great owner / operator. Thank you Bob (Big Z) for a great experience!! Tip - bar has usb and reg plugs for phone charging as well as purse hooks.

Second time here. We have been looking for a good deep dish Chicago style pizza. This place makes a great deep dish with lots of options. They have good tea and a friendly staff. Our only compliant is it has been warm in there both times. They have a swamp cooler which helps until you aren't in front of it. That said...we love the food and enjoy the staff.
