Little Sister Cake Shop & Café is such a cute spot in Houston, small, bright and super clean with a cozy vibe. The lattes were great. They didn’t have coconut milk, but I loved that they offer local honey. The pastries were simple, beautiful and delicious. Little Sister Bakery is such a standout. I tried the iced caramelized banana latte and the Earl Grey cinnamon roll, and both were genuinely impressive in completely different ways. The latte actually tastes like caramelized banana – smooth, slightly sweet without being overpowering, almost dessert-like even when iced. The Earl Grey cinnamon roll surprised me the most. The taste is great; flavors really comes through and works surprisingly well with the cinnamon. The pastry is soft and fluffy, not overly dense, and already want another one. Also, the staff was sooo nice and kind — the whole place just has a warm, welcoming vibe. I’d go back for both, and that latte might be one of the better flavored coffee drinks I’ve had in Houston recently.

Little Sister is a cafe and bakery located in the Stomping Grounds. I have visited Little Sister when they were formerly known as Becca's Cakes and have always been a fan of their macaroons and cupcakes. With their rebrand, they now serve drinks and have a variety of pastries asides from cakes and macarons. I love their drinks—from their matcha to their espresso lattes. Their seasonal menu is so cute and changes every month or so. During Halloween, they had a Black Magic Latte, and you could choose between matcha or espresso. The drink came with black sesame syrup, foam, and a ghost marshmallow. The Black Magic Latte was my favorite seasonal drink! I like that they make all their syrups in house and have seasonal menus. The coffee is just right and not too sweet, but you can always ask them for more or less syrup. The matcha is vibrant and whisked, not pre-made. Their pastries are also super cute, and I like the pistachio macaroons and cupcakes. The cupcakes are moist and well-balanced—not too overly rich or sweet. The café is decorated nicely with whimsical walls. However, there is limited seating, and there are a few tables inside. Staff is always friendly, and there is plenty of free parking within the plaza. Little Sister is one of my favorite cafes and bakeries in town, and I am always visiting to try their seasonal menus!

I’ve been a fan since the Becca’s Cakes days. (I've always liked her cupcakes — the frosting is light and airy, and not too sweet.) I’m really happy to see how the shop has grown! The new menu feels like such a natural next step. I’ve been loving the new coffee options, too; I tried the Caramelized Banana latte on my last trip, and I'm excited to get it again on my next. The expanded space is just a great spot to sit for a bit, have something sweet, and relax.

Cookie butter oat latte - 8/10 - Very creamy but could use more cookie butter flavor, also a bit milky Earl grey oat matcha - 6.5/10 - Matcha🍵 was strong and had an earthy taste, but also too milky Coffee cake - 7.5/10 - Decent for a coffee☕️ cake, tasted very cinnamony but could use more coffee flavor and be more moist Tiramisu cup - 8/10 - Creamy but could use more coffee flavor as well One of the cutest little bakeries 🥧 ive been to in Houston and so girl-coded but I think their drinks and pastries were overall decent to me. They have plenty of parking. I would stop by for a baked good if i were in the area but I do think theyre better known for their cakes 🍰
