I typically don’t leave bad reviews. I just never go again. My experience may not be the same as others, however, I do want to share it. I went in today, a little before 2pm- about ten minutes til. I didn’t want much. I wanted goat stew & fufu. But I didn’t get that because the location didn’t open at 11, like it says on google. The woman who placed my order had just gotten there a little while before me, & she seemed to be the only person there. She then explained than nothing was prepared yet because she was late, so I opted for a side of beef (that was pretty much it) for $12- just so I could try, it & support the business. The woman then proceeded to look at me as if I was crazy, & kissed her teeth. Then I go to look at the beef, & see what I paid twelve dollars for- 3 pieces of beef. I tried a piece of one beef & it was NOT tender. At all. Very chewy. Disappointed? No, not really. Maybe if I had the tolerance & patience to come back & try it again, I would, but I don’t, so I won’t!

The food is tasty and clean, not too salty or peppery. They have the best fried rice in Houston. We had our thanksgiving lunch there. It was fantastic. We bought 3 other addtional dishes to take home. Highly recommended.

Great food and portions. My only issue is that there is not a ton of seating, especially for larger parties. We scoped out the place to introduce our non-Nigerian friends to the cuisine but I’m uncertain there will be enough seating to be comfortable.

The food is amazing. Full of flavor and always fresh! The price is reasonable as well. I love Nigerian food and find this to be my go to place when I want some.
