The food was a 4/10. The ribs and sweet and sour chicken had an almost uncooked flour film on them. The rice wasn’t very seasoned at all and the single Coca Cola wing was raw. My man ordered it off uber eats and I won’t be trying them again.

The Chow main was pretty good. The rice was a little mushy. The egg rolls were a little cold but okay. Sweet n sour chicken was okay. The fried chicken was really crunchy. Beef broccoli needed more beef. Over all the food was good for the price. I would it there again. I just hope the food improves with time.

Went to the bowling alley today for a birthday party. Asked for a plastic knife and the little bowls because we ran out of plates (our fault)-they had given us the little bowls for free with out ranch so we thought we would be able to get more. The guy behind the counter was so rude and would not give us anything. Even after we offered to pay for all of it. He said “we can’t serve outside our establishment” we were bowling?? Same building?? And he said outside jimmies place. So different establishments altogether. Fine. Chucks would’ve done it no problem. They should’ve never left and all I keep hearing are bad things about the new jimmies place. The people running this one are giving the country club one a bad rep. I won’t be giving them my business.

Really lovely Taiwanese restaurant! Authentic flavors and very fairly priced. Staff were kind and welcoming too! Lots of seating outside that’s shared with Aloha bar. Casual sit-down or take-out vibe. We got the braised pork bowl, beef noodle soup, fried mushrooms, fried squid, popcorn chicken, and congee. Everything was delicious! Popcorn chicken and braised pork bowl tasted just like what I get in Taiwan. The beef noodle soup was flavorful, a little spicy and gingery. And the congee was homey in a loving way, made with whole grains that felt so nourishing and a little bit of white pepper to give warmth. It’s so hard to find a place that does Taiwanese food well, and I’m happy we stumbled upon this place! I will definitely come again. Highly recommend supporting this neighborhood gem!
