Very kind and patient staff - while I asked all the questions - especially with a very strict diet. Very reasonably priced. This is located in the tunnels in downtown Houston. Cafeteria environment. I got shawarma and chick peas. Chicken was dry. Chick peas were good. Again, everyone was so very kind. The owner has food trucks around Harris County - open to 3 am.

I needed some help with the menu since it was my first time eating there. One of the employees went above and beyond to make sure I had an extremely pleasant experience. Everything was very tasty and there are many options to choose from. Definitely a hidden gem in the tunnels. I'm looking forward to trying out some of their other locations in the near future.

What a disappointing return to the Houston tunnels... Before the pandemic, I would go here 1-2 times a week, every week. The food was better than anything comparable, downtown. Very nice and accommodating staff and the food tasted consistent... I was thrilled to see they were reopening the tunnel location. I've been twice and most of everything tastes like I remember, but there's something a little off now. I first noticed it in the rice, but it was still good. I've been happy with the food I received and the price, since their return. However, the biggest differences and disappointments are with their staff and portions. After 2 visits and interacting with the smug woman at the counter, I'm not planning on returning. She's pretend-nice to customers as well as her coworkers. I walk by all the time, so if she's not around, I may give another employee an opportunity to treat a loyal customer like they're valued. Portions decreasing, I get (post pandemic) but take a look at this $12 plate, 3 pieces of cauliflower, enough rice to give the illusion the meat portion hasn't decreased, some meat and a side of employee attitude... I’ve been coming to Arabella for months now and the food has always been incredible. The customer service is excellent, the amount of seasoning used for the food is perfect, the food portions are significantly larger than what is typically given in other tunnel restaurants. I’ll continue to come because I simply LOVE this restaurant!
