I ordered fried rice and I couldn’t eat it, it was so hard and tasteless. I told the server and she felt unbothered. The others ordered salty and stale seafood Okoro , salty and tasteless egunsi , its only the efo riro that seams relatively fresh. efo riro with poundo yam. Terrible experience and waste of money.

The place is peaceful, cool and neat. Lots of fans to keep you cool. The owner was very friendly. I felt welcome. Not like most amala places that makes you feel like you have no choice! Its your money, let it count! I enjoyed the place and the taste of the food was also good!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon based on a friend’s recommendation while visiting from out of town. It was pretty quiet when we arrived and the restaurant is clean and organized. However it took at least 30 minutes to get our food which was not ideal especially because we were starving. Also we were handed menus but were told that the prices were higher than what was quoted, which was a bit disappointing. Thankfully the taste and generous portion size of the food made up for it. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal

Today after church, we decided to stop by Grains and Solids because we were craving amala was on point, and they did not disappoint! We came all the way from the DMV to try them out. I ordered amala with light gbegiri, and my friend had hers without gbegiri. The taste was amazing, definitely a 9.5/10! The only reason we took off half a point was because of the oil, but the flavor was absolutely worth it. For appetizers, we had suya and pomo. The suya was fantastic — well-seasoned, tender, and the pepper on the side was perfect. The pomo, however, came with extremely spicy pepper — it’s basically pure rodo! If you love intense spice, you’ll enjoy it, but if you’re not used to pepper, I’d skip it. My sister ordered the egusi with pounded yam and assorted meat, which we rated a solid 9/10 (again, just taking a point off for the oil). Ambiance: 6.5–7/10 Customer Service: 7.5/10 — polite and friendly, but service could be a little faster. Overall, the food was delicious and exactly what we came for. Our craving was completely satisfied, and we left happy and full. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Based on a friend’s recommendation, my wife and I went to this restaurant. I ordered shrimp fried rice and moi moi. The shrimp fried rice had only 2 shrimps in it. The moi moi was like a bean paste. The goat meat was as hard as a rock. Terrible experience. Spent $80 on the food. So pained.
