Al's Pizza House

Interesting place. Stopped by on a whim. Great burger and fries, homemade lasagna was good, a bit runny but good. Portion sizes for cost was very reasonable. Now, with some TLC, this place could be an amazing event venue. Imagine the back seating area with fairy lights, live music and small playground.

I always says “if they have corn, they know how to make pizza” I asked for ham, corn, bacon and mozzarella cheese and this pizza was just something else, so delicious, so crunchy and thin. Definitely I will save this place as my favorite pizza place.

I drove past here a few days ago and said to myself, self…you need to try this Al’s Pizza house. The counter person was very friendly and polite. They have a lovely dining area and an outside eating area. Although it appears that they do carry out for the most part as no one was in the dining room. I ordered the margarita pizza… medium. It looked very nice upon opening the box. It was fairly tasty. It needed a little more seasoning. The crust was pretty good, but a little heavy around the edges. I will have to try another flavor on another day. When I called, I was told 20 minutes. I arrived promptly paid my bill, and I still waited another 10-15 minutes. Not sure what the delay was. They did not appear to be overly busy.

We have ordered from Al's over the years and they have been okay. We ordered tonight and specifically requested crispy crust. I asked it we needed to order thin crust to get it crispy. The guy who was taking my order asked someone else (male) if thin crust was crispy and I heard the other guy say they could many the thick crust crispy and I said okay, as long as it is crispy. Got our pizza and not only was it not crispy, the dough was raw like it had not been cooked. I called back and the young man asked me what I wanted him to do about it. I asked if we could get another pizza or a refund and he said he didn't know what to tell me. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he wasn't there. I asked the managers name and he said he couldn't tell me. I asked for the name of the young man I was speaking with and he said I wish I could help you out. Terrible service, terrible pizza and terrible attitude. Also, the pizza smelled horrible. I don't think this deserves any star at all. I'm thankful we can at least write to the BBB, FTC and others organizations to at least get these things on record. Hope you all have better luck than we did!

I've lived in Copperfield for 25 years and have passed Al's countless times. We decided to give it a shot today as we were at Special Pals Animal Hospital with some of our pets. Overall Fantastic food! Everything we got was delicious, well cooked and hot. We took advantage of a $20.99 special that had a large pizza with two toppings, 10 wings and a 2 liter bottle of soda. The wings were huge! The only issue was they sent the wrong dipping sauce. I asked for blue cheese and I got some kind of vinaigrette. That wasn't an issue for me, as I have blue cheese at home but if I didn't I kind of would have been upset about that! Other than that though not a deal breaker for me. They were also well cooked and the sauce was very good. I've had wings at other pizza places before and usually they have wings that have a lot of bloodlines and dark meat in them. These wings were delicious & very flavorful! The pizza was also very good. It had plenty of toppings on it, it was nice and thin and a great flavor overall. Plus, it reheated good as well! Both ladies that were there, one that took my order & at the counter and the other that was doing the cooking were both very pleasant. The atmosphere of the place inside was very nice too. It has a cute little dining area, in the front, that was sectioned off and an outdoor patio area, if you want to brave the heat and sit out there! Lol We will definitely be back!
