I recently visited Alings Chinese Restaurant, and the experience left me genuinely impressed. From the very first bite, I felt as though I had been transported straight to the Indo-China border, where flavors from both cultures blend seamlessly. Each dish carried an authentic, well-crafted taste—bold, balanced, and true to its roots. The ingredients were fresh, the seasoning was precise, and the presentation reflected real culinary expertise. Alingo isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a place to experience food. I walked in curious, but walked out amazed.

We finally made it to Alings Chinese Bistro, the HWY90 location, and I’m already planning my next visit. If you’re a fan of Indo-Chinese food, you seriously need to check this place out. The absolute highlight of the night was the Chili Gobi (V17). It was incredibly crispy and perfectly sauced—honestly mouthwatering. It’s one of those dishes you keep thinking about the next day. If you’re a spicy food lover, you are going to be in heaven here. They really know how to bring the heat without losing any of the amazing flavor. The heat level is perfect for anyone who loves a good kick. Everything felt fresh, the service was fast, staff were awesome and the vibe was just right for a fun dinner out.

By far the #1 Indo-Chinese food around! Im from College Station and had the pleasure of trying a few different dishes today during my visit. From the first bite, I was taken for a ride of flavor. Where Im at, you dont get the combination. Its typically one or the other. Then, its easy to figure out which business is better. Aling's food shut down my local spots for me. Won't be able to go back to anywhere else but make the drive 100+ miles to Aling's. It was top tier from the moment I walked in. Worked 9 years at OG back in the day, where the slogan was "When you're here, we're family". I felt that again.... I would like to thank the front of house staff, servers, cooks and management for making it a top tier experience. Definitely a must try and a definite b-back for me. 100/100

We had meant to try Alings for a while now, and date night seemed perfect. We had dinner. . After a brief time at our table which allowed us to review the menu, our waiter arrived to begin service. We ordered drinks, then I had some questions for the waiter. . I had checked the online menu and preliminarily decided on Szechuan noodles. I noted that nearly all the Szechuan dishes were "OUT". Why? It was explained that they couldn't get the sauce. Hmmm, they don't make the sauce? Hmmm. . Anyways, I ordered the chili fries as an app and Chinese chow main as my meal. The waiter described the dish as "the flat", which I thought would pair well with spicy fries. My lady ordered Shrimp 88. . The fries arrived first, of course. They were really delicious! Also, pretty hot. I loved them. . Our mains arrived, and goodness the portions were huge. I ate maybe 1/5, and she ate perhaps 1/3. My dish was indeed pretty bland. Hers was good. We took home a shopping bag of leftovers. . It was a nice experience. Next time we'll split an entree.
