I ordered yam porridge because I've had it here before and it was decent. I came in to pick it up and decided to order fried yam. However, the empty restaurant should have told me to keep it pushing. I'm pissed because I ordered the fried yam and stew and got 6 pieces of semi-burnt, bitter, new yam! It's clear they don't know how to fry new yam... brine it in salt and SUGAR. The stew is sour... tomatoes not cooked properly. I'm very annoyed because I wasted $15. Yup, my total I spent is correct. Don't waste your time, money or effort! Update: I tried the yam porridge. It was a 3 out of 10. Y'all hire someone who can cook!

I ordered some food today. I was so so hungry and I ordered. I waited for more than an hour for my food and when I finally got home to work to eat my food. There was so napkins or forks. ( to move on from that ) ordered multiple things and I didn’t like how the dishes tasted. The pepper soup is the most flavorless I’ve had in Houston and I love trying it from every location. The two other dishes didn’t help as well. Please read reviews before buying food for the first time 😭😭

I don’t review places but this one had me very pissed. So I came in at lunch time to grab a to-go bite and was graced with the stench of hookah, I looked around and no one was in there. I met a lady that I asked what menu was available and she did not make me feel like she had stuff to offer me unlike the times I usually come here( a young lady was always there with a nice smile) used bottles of beer was lying around, chair was broken and dirty(mind you she told me to sit down) I was standing the entire time cause heck No! The floor was dirty and to paint a picture of how dirty it was if my wallet fell down by accident I would need Clorox bleach to clean it. IT WAS BAD! I really wanted to give the food a chance but I thought since the place is like this how will inside where the food is being made be. SO I WALKED OUT! This place had turned into a nightmare! And to think it used to be a place I liked getting my food from that was above average.

I would give them zero stars if could. I came on order my food and half the people in there were drunk . They started arguing and were loud and I felt unsafe after waiting and asking for my food 5 times for 30 minutes , I left and was pissed .

Please find a Cameroon recipe for your food. It’s doesn’t taste good. Palm oil doesn’t serve this economy any good. There’s are different kinds of oil, canola, Canola. Corn. Olive. Peanut. Safflower. Soybean. Sunflower. Vegetable. The pumpkin seed used, could it be bought in the United States. And the fufu isn’t the proper fufu quality or portion size. I feel asleep after. Very troubling. What if I was at work. That’s not a good lunch to service. Honestly it’s not a business that can last for a long time. It doesn’t address the masses. No way to scale it. I had to advise my African American not ti come close, the smell and only God knows why you didn’t use a little virgin oil lol. Sorry - this should be recommended as needed. Use spices from a particular store and ingredients for the seed should be from the Halloween pumpkin seed. That’s why African American accuse African born origin for lack of cooperation. The same goes for the Mexican culture. We could all use one old school beautiful restaurant that truly shows are traditional food in the best light. The Uber delivery driver requested an additional tip, that’s how I know he didn’t like the delivery smell of the food.
