The place is wonderful. However they were out of Milk. No biggie. I love the prices. The staff need customer service training. I ask the cashier if the line was open for instance and she said “ Yes of course it’s open. “. She was not behind the counter at the time. I asked the gentleman if they had milk. He went on for way too long about how they didn’t. A simple no msm would suffice. Then I asked a price check and he ask can’t you go around to the front and see if there is a price? I said I could however that lady is in my way. So I would rather ask you. I just don’t understand why every time I come here I have to get bullied in some way. Ps. Thanks for the man who offered me a cart. After I kept losing all my change. I really appreciated it.

I visited ALDI Store #18 on 3618 Old Spanish Trail today during a moderately busy period. Two registers were open, each with lines of several customers. I initially entered a line staffed by Raigan, where there were two customers ahead of me. When I reached the belt and began unloading my items, she asked the customer in front of me to place the closed sign on the belt. I put my items back in my basket and moved to the other line without issue. Shortly afterward, Raigan stated that she could take another customer. I returned to her register and again began placing my items on the belt. At that point, she spoke to me in a raised and abrupt manner, instructing me to move forward and unload my items so the customer behind me could do the same. I complied, but the tone used was defensive and unprofessional. Throughout the interaction, she appeared more focused on conversing with the other cashier than assisting customers. I understand the need for efficiency during busy shopping periods, but clear communication and respectful customer interaction should still be expected. This experience was disappointing, not due to store operations, but due to the way the interaction was handled.

Very good selection of fresh produce. Customer service great. Associate saw checkout line was long and stopped his current task to open another checkout line. Loved the grapes, pears were absolutely delicious after a day of sitting out, so were the plums

ALDI corporate leadership needs to address this immediately before someone is seriously harmed or a lawsuit occurs. On December 23rd, my children and I visited the ALDI location on OST in Houston, TX, as we regularly do. While I was unloading my groceries at the checkout line, a security guard entered the store and began speaking aggressively and disrespectfully to an elderly customer in line. The security guard was yelling at the customer and repeatedly stating that he was calling the police. The elderly man responded, “You’re not going to do anything to me,” and explained that he was on the phone with a family member who is a police officer because he felt unsafe walking to his car. The security guard replied, “We’ll see,” which was a direct and threatening escalation. This interaction frightened customers in line and nearby, including my children. At that point, an ALDI employee (a female staff member) appropriately stepped in and told the security guard that he had taken the situation too far and asked him to leave the customer alone. The security guard then began yelling at that employee as well. I want to be very clear: the ALDI employee acted professionally and was attempting to protect the customer and de-escalate the situation. The security guard did the opposite. His behavior was aggressive, intimidating, and completely inappropriate for a grocery store serving families, children, and elderly customers. This is not the first time I have witnessed this security guard antagonize customers. He lacks emotional intelligence, appears to intentionally escalate situations, and presents a serious safety concern to the community. Immediate action is necessary. This individual should not be serving in a security role. His behavior is a liability and puts both customers and ALDI employees at risk.

Yesterday, I happened upon Chobani Greek yogurt, called Spiced Holiday Nog, needing a probiotic food item. Due to the December season I made this choice. The Greek yogurt flavor is just fine for yogurt consumers. Others may choose a dab more of honey or sugar. I hope to buy again in the future. This was a luxury knowing I could have gotten 2 other selections for the price of one. Prebiotic, Foodie Kim
