Hidden in a neighborhood of the Heights you'll find a small but mighty venue serving up eclectic jams, balanced drinks, fast service, and impeccable humans. I've made of my closest friends in Houston here. The vibes are warm and very chill. There's a little bit of something for everyone and all are welcome.

I am typically not one to leave reviews but our experience was so bad i feel like i need to. We are very big in the local scene and go to many shows and venues. This was our first time here and as soon as we walked in we noticed how terrible it smelled like sewage. The bartenders seemed very nice. The patio area was very cool. The bathroom stalls did not lock. When we closed our tab, we were charged a “large party fee” there was only 2 of us. Which granted, it was automatic 20% tip but we did not realize that and left an additional 20 % tip. We were charged for 18… yes 18 drinks and when we questioned it they said it is correct. When we knew for a fact it was Incorrect. The bill was so high our bank flagged it for fraud. Overall, we enjoyed the bands but we wont be back.

Went to see a couple of old friends play Sunday afternoon. Haven't been here in over a decade. Prices are super reasonable. The decor is nice and eclectic. Service friendly and attentive. Sounds is decent. A classic dive bar in the north part of the Heights with easy access from the North freeway or North Loop. Live music every day. Wide variety of music. Check it out!

Live music venue with LOTS of entertainment and great bands. Great management. Awesome selection of on tap beers. Try the Porter! The bartenders make great cocktails 🍸

My first time performing at Dan Electro’s was one to remember — good stuff from start to finish. The vibe in that historic Houston spot is something else — walls that breathe music and a crowd that was half of well season artist. I had the honor of performing with Joy of Djembe Drumming for the H. Kumi Foundation’s 12th Annual Fundraiser, helping raise funds to build a center for the disabled in Ghana, Africa. That Sunday Funday was full of purpose, rhythm, and unity — the kind of experience that reminds you how music can truly connect hearts across continents.
