I’m obsessed with this place. You definitely have to come back more than once — the museum is beautiful and huge. If you really want to take in the art and the architecture, one visit is simply not enough. That’s why I highly recommend the membership for two people — it’s under $100 and absolutely worth it.

This was my first visit to the museum of fine arts in Houston, they have two exhibitions that me and my daughter wanted to see, one is called Louvre Couture, and the other is Frida, we spent a few hours in the Louvre Couture exhibit and let me tell you, it blew our mind! The combination of paintings, sculptures, and couture was extraordinary, we had the opportunity to enjoy paintings from centuries ago to today’s designers couture. They had couture dresses from Chanel, Dior, Givenchy and more. You will not regret coming to this exhibition. There is parking next building and you have to go through a tunnel to get to the exhibit, the staff is extremely helpful and the fees for parking and tickets are very affordable. We didn’t have time to see Frida‘s exhibition, but we’re coming back for that one!

Wow! What a bargain. There is so much to see there! We stayed for hours an still only saw one and 1/2 of the buildings. It's definitely an all day or several day trip. Loved their impressionists. The Asian and Native American collections are nice. They had the Haute Couture collection going. It was definitely interesting to see high fashion up close! Do not miss the rooftop. You can see all of Houston. We lucked into a clear day!! What a wonderful view!! The outside sculptures are beautiful as well!!

This museum is spectacular! I loved waking around and seeing all the various exhibits that everyone can enjoy. As a Lego builder I truly appreciated the Lego exhibit that were on display. The light displays were amazing and I enjoyed my time here.

We visited the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston for the special couture exhibition, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The couture show was stunning, but what truly surprised us was how huge and fascinating the museum itself is. There is an incredible variety of art, beautifully curated spaces, and so much to explore beyond the temporary exhibitions. Plan to spend at least 3 hours here to really enjoy it—it’s absolutely worth the time. The museum is engaging for both adults and kids (6+), making it a great family-friendly cultural experience as well. We’re already looking forward to coming back to see more exhibitions. Highly recommend!
