This is a much better deal when you become a member. We visited on a Saturday in mid-June and the crowds were very manageable. Parking was relatively easy. The exhibits are world-class. Don't miss this.

Pro Tip: Admission is free on Tuesdays! Must-See: I highly recommend the Cabinet of Curiosities on the 2nd floor. It’s completely interactive - you can touch the objects and open every drawer to see what’s inside. The whole room is designed to mimic a 400-year-old painting on the wall. If you look at the black-and-white artwork, you’ll see the same crocodile and drawers reflected in the actual room! It’s a perfect recreation of the Baroque era, back when people kept "wonder rooms" to show off strange and beautiful objects to their friends. Definitely worth a visit!

I love this museum—it offers a wonderful mix of interactive activity centers for kids, making it both engaging and educational for families. The exhibits are equally impressive, from a striking collection of minerals and stones to fascinating dinosaur displays and beautifully preserved Egyptian artifacts. It’s truly a standout destination in Houston and a must-visit experience. You won’t be disappointed.

For over a decade, my family has relished our visits to the Museum of Natural Science, where adventure and discovery await around every corner. Our toddlers are particularly enchanted by the life-sized dinosaurs and the vibrant butterflies, making each visit a delightful experience. This past Memorial Day was especially memorable, as we were fortunate to explore a captivating traveling exhibition: "The Freedom Plane National Tour: To See Documents That Forged a Nation," supported by the National Archives. This remarkable showcase allowed us to delve into the very foundations of our country’s history. The Museum of Natural Science offers an impressive array of exhibits that cater to both young explorers and seasoned enthusiasts alike. Its thoughtfully curated selections provide a rich tapestry of knowledge, ensuring that every visit is not just educational, but also a joyous journey for the entire family.
