I had a fantastic experience with U-Haul. The staff was super helpful—special shout-out to the guy at the counter who solved my issue with zero hassle. The vehicle was in top shape, and the entire process was smooth and easy. Highly recommend them for a quick, seamless rental!

Extremely Poor Service and Unresolved Issues with Truck Rental – Urgent Attention Required Dear U-Haul Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at your U-Haul location on Louisiana Street in Houston, Texas. My experience with both the rental process and customer service was appalling, and I feel it’s important to bring these issues to your attention. I had rented a truck in advance and paid for the rental ahead of time. However, I received a text notification stating that the pickup location had been changed to the opposite side of the city an incredibly inconvenient change that caused unnecessary stress and disruption to my plans. To make matters worse, when I called the location to explain the situation and seek assistance, I was put on hold for an unreasonable amount of time. When the call finally resumed, the same individual who had initially placed me on hold asked me what the issue was, despite clearly knowing the context. This lack of professionalism was extremely frustrating. Not only was the person unhelpful, but they also hung up on me without attempting to resolve the issue. When I called back, I was told to reach out to the 800 customer service number and was met with rude and dismissive behavior. The level of customer service I received was appalling, and I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of resolution and the unprofessional attitude displayed. I expected much better from a company like U-Haul, but it is clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority. As a result of this experience, I will not be using U-Haul for any future rentals, and I will be advising others to look elsewhere as well. You have lost a customer for good.

Lawrence was very professional and helpful with my U-Haul experience.... I came in valentines he was happy an friendly even offered me a cupcake after I declined a storage unit... if I was staying in this area I definitely would have used you for a storage facility... Thank you for you amazing customer service..

Highly recommend! The person I worked with was very friendly and helpful in explaining the check-in and check-out process as well as everything in between. Was able to rent a furniture and utility dolly which also made the process easier. I called 24h in advance to confirm everything was available for my reservation and would recommend doing this so there are no surprises.
