Overall: 4.3 (above average spa that stands out because of its amenities and price point, but could improve on cleanliness and provided toiletries) Cleanliness: 3.7 (there was a worn band-aid in the women’s hot tub) Service: 5/5 (staff were attentive and helpful at all times, other reviews are harsh, but I was treated kindly throughout. as for spa etiquette, it’s always good to tip your locker room attendant) Massage: 4/5 (my masseuse could use more training but was decent, not the worst but definitely not the best) Amenities: 4.7/5 (the pools, gender segregated hot tub and sauna which is Muslim hijabi friendly, locker rooms, free coffee/tea/cookies/nuts, ample water stations and towels, incredible soft robes and sandals provided were on point. The indoor and outdoor spaces were immaculate with beautiful trees to sit by or a warm fire place in a dim room to relax next to with your tea. I went on a Tuesday afternoon 3pm-close and only 1-2 others were sharing space with me at any given time. For the price point they should have better locker room amenities such as individually wrapped hair products, facial and body care, hair dryers, etc.) but overall it was fine.

*19 September 2025* Visiting from Atlanta. I enjoyed my first experience here. It's a beautiful, peaceful place. My friend booked a 100-minute massage for me, and boy did the time fly! Lol. Latoyia was my masseuse. She did a good job on my full body, except for my feet. Latoyia's foot massage was lackluster and weak, as I've had better elsewhere. The staff are attentive and ready to assist with whatever you need.

Trellis Spa is our preferred Houston spa for pampering days with my daughters and mother. We book one treatment and spend the rest of the day enjoying the spa amenities. We like going on Mondays because it's less crowded. Fridays and weekends are pretty packed but you just have to work harder to find places to relax. But after their remodel, I've never had trouble finding places to relax. I highly recommend Mr. Kendal for a massage therapist. I've had massages all over the world and he ranks as one of the best. My mom had a facial with Sabrina and raved about her. We ordered lunch on the patio (they bring in food from the resort and request you reserve your meals in advance if possible). The service was excellent. Overall, the spa is absolutely lovely. I mean - who doesn't love being served Prosecco in a hot tub? And, yes, the experience is pricey. But for the amenities alone the price is worth it!

This is one of my favorite spas in Houston. I LOVE that I can easily spend all day here. If you are looking for a deep tissue massage, Jose helped my back and shoulders sooo much. Was sore the next day, but that’s exactly how I want to feel after I pay for a massage. Work those muscles!!

AMAZING morning at Trellis Spa with my daughter! My daughter and I had been trying to carve out time to visit Trellis, and we were gifted the ultimate spa experience—massage, lunch, and full access to all the amenities. I’ve stayed at The Houstonian several times but never made it to the spa… and wow—was I missing out! From the moment we booked, everything was seamless. Clear instructions on arrival time, parking, and what to expect made the entire experience completely stress-free. Once there, we were given a tour, assigned lockers with easy instructions, slipped into robes, and enjoyed tea while waiting for our massages. The staff handled everything—we didn’t have to think about a thing. PATRICK Harrison gave me one of the best deep-tissue massages I’ve ever had—professional, intuitive, and exactly what I needed. My daughter had Kendal and loved her experience as well. We did 50 minutes due to time constraints, but next time we’re absolutely booking 100 minutes—it’s worth it. Afterward, we ordered lunch, relaxed in the hot tubs (despite the cold weather!), and enjoyed prosecco while the attentive staff made sure we had towels, menus, and everything we needed. Lunch was delicious—chicken salad sandwiches, chips, chocolate-covered strawberries—and the peaceful setting made it even better. This was the perfect mother-daughter day. As business owners ourselves, we truly appreciate exceptional customer service—and Trellis absolutely delivers. It’s obvious why this spa is considered one of the best places to relax, decompress, and feel completely taken care of. We can’t wait to return and spend the entire day next time!
