I can’t recommend Houston Car Stereo enough. I’ve had two of my vehicles fitted with subwoofers by them, and every time they’ve gone above and beyond anything I’ve experienced at other shops. From day one, I was treated like a VIP customer, even though I definitely wasn’t spending VIP money. Muhammad and his team don’t just try to sell you equipment. They actually make sure you understand what you want and help you figure out what makes sense for your car, your goals, and your budget. They have a deep understanding of how to make things work the right way, and they make everything fit your needs instead of just pushing parts. When anything needed fine-tuning or adjustment, they didn’t upsell, they didn’t cut corners, and they didn’t make excuses, they just took care of it and made sure everything was right. Their attention to detail, honesty, and willingness to go the extra mile is rare these days. If you want an honest shop that treats you with respect, knows their craft, and truly cares about getting the job done correctly, Houston Car Stereo is the place. I’m beyond impressed and won’t go anywhere else for audio upgrades. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Houston Car Stereo. They were able to get me in last minute first thing in the morning, which I really appreciated. The team installed an Apple CarPlay kit in my 2016 Lexus RX and also installed dash cams, and everything was completed within a reasonable amount of time. They were professional, efficient, and clearly know what they’re doing. They routed everything cleanly, used my factory microphone, and explained how everything worked before I left. The install looks completely factory and everything works perfectly. If you’re looking for a shop that knows their stuff and treats customers well, I highly recommend Houston Car Stereo.

I have recently been navigating a new journey with both my car and truck, exploring several solutions on my own without success. I didn’t know what to expect when I first walked into this car stereo shop, but I’m so glad I chose this location. Back in 2020, they installed an updated Alpine 8-inch screen in my 2003 Harley Davidson F-150, and the quality of their work brought me back in 2025 for a full speaker upgrade. Not only did they upgrade the sound system, but they also built a custom subwoofer box that took everything to the next level. The sound quality now is absolutely incredible—like a brand-new, high-end audio system. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car audio. These guys are true professionals who know exactly what they’re doing. Highly recommend!
