I wanted to wait until I felt stable to really sit down and write this review so 1 year out seems like the perfect time: I hired Mr. Skillern based on the referral of my friend in the law field. I'll be honest, I took her referral without research as I wasn't sure exactly what I was doing. I was only 27, not far into my marriage and in a situation where I needed to leave but was left debating. Come February and something happens that has me contacting Mr. Skillern in a panic. I can't even remember the sequence of events but within the hour of me contacting the law firm, Mr. Skillern was on the phone with me laying out the WHOLE process. He guided me through that moment like I was his own family - anticipating the questions I would have and validating what I was going through. I hired him immediately. Before the day was out, he was already handling my ex and "just between us girls" I have never felt more defended and this was before the real paperwork was filed. I really didn't have to worry about anything from there. I got lucky in that my process ended before going to court but every step of the way, Mr. Skillern and his team were right there with me. I've already recommended to my own circle!
