After taking our Hino box truck to four different shops without getting a clear diagnostic, Rush was finally able to give us clear answers. They diagnosed the issue within the timeframe they promised and communicated consistently throughout the process. Javante was especially helpful — he kept me updated regularly on where we stood in the queue, whether road tests had been completed, and what the next steps would be. When recall-related repairs came up, Rush handled them proactively at no cost, and Javante clearly explained what that meant and how it would affect our timeline. Although the entire process took about four weeks from drop-off to full resolution, they delivered when they said they would. When the transmission issue required a specialist, Rush referred us to their trusted transmission partner, and the issue was ultimately resolved. Even during the holiday season, they were responsive and got us back in quickly for follow-up recall-related concerns. Rush is definitely on the pricier side which is why I’m giving it 4 stars. That said, the communication, transparency, and follow-through from both Rush and Javante were unmatched compared to the other providers we tried. Overall, a solid experience.

We took our Hino truck there for repair it needed a part between the double gas tanks. We went to the E Freeway location. They said it should be a couple of days. After the two days they kept on saying probably tomorrow every day. We called in and they would give an excuse and say another day. Well they finally repaired it 6 weeks later so we were stuck with a rental box truck charge for 6 weeks. The bill came to $3500 instead of $700. How can it be this much? Kyle is the general manager. Do not buy a truck from these guys and definitely do not take it in for repair there.

⸻ About a month ago, I visited this repair shop because my truck was intermittently showing a “Transmission Fault” message on the dashboard. The warning would appear and disappear. At the shop, I was told that the clutch needed to be replaced, and I was given an estimate of around $7,500. After the transmission was opened, I was informed that some electronic components inside the transmission had been damaged due to moisture and needed replacement. I was also told that the NOx sensor had an issue. Based on these explanations, I was charged approximately $14,800, which I paid. After the repairs were completed, I was told that the truck had been road-tested; however, the “Transmission Fault” message appeared again. At that point, I was told that the ABS wiring harness might be faulty and that replacing it could resolve the issue. I was then given another estimate of around $7,800. All estimates, invoices, and explanations provided by the shop were sent to me via email. I decided not to proceed with the ABS repair and took the truck back, even though the same transmission fault—the reason I originally brought it in—remained. Thirty days later, I took the truck to a different local shop for a second opinion. After their inspection, they told me that the NOx sensor (which had recently been replaced) was not functioning properly and replaced it again. They also informed me that, according to their diagnostics, the ABS system had no issues. After resetting the truck’s computer, the “Transmission Fault” message did not appear again. Since then, the truck has been running without any error codes or issues. The second shop charged approximately $485 for diagnostics, computer reset, and the NOx sensor replacement. Based on my personal experience, what was previously suggested as a repair potentially costing around $7,800 was resolved at another shop for about $485. At this point, I cannot say with certainty whether all the initially recommended repairs were truly necessary, or if the main problem may have been caused by something else. This review is purely my personal experience and impression, shared so that others can make a more informed decision when choosing a repair shop.
