Penske Truck Rental

I've been picking up rental trucks for my company AMI(AMORY MODULAR INSTALLARION), and I must say the service is phenomenal!!! Jose Gomez and his entire team are awesome. Mr. Jose is always ready to go bright and early always has an amazing attitude always has a smile and is always very polite. I like that the team always greets me as soon as I walk in and they are always polite and very helpful ALL THE TIME. This location on Hempstead Rd is the best all the way around. The service team and the mechanics are very great and professional. I highly recommend this location for their great service all the way around. Corporate should be very very proud of this team because that's what they really are A TEAM...that love to work together as 1 and believe in the importance of safety!!!

Worse place to get truck wash!! Get ready to spend at least 3 hours just for the guy to come and start washing your truck. Bay empty but still have to wait.

Rent the truck for 900 it was raining in Texas water was liking on my all the way while driving, and on my furniture as well cruise wasn’t working i had to throw some of my furniture. Trying toreach out to then and sending the pictures but without any benefit . Worst experience for me !!

Made a reservation 3-4 weeks in advance and described my needs in detail when picking up my reservation as well as when placing it. The truck they had reserved for me had a hole in it, they gave me another but this slightly delayed my pickup. The car carrier I also reserved on the same reservation was not at the location for my pickup the day it was reserved, it was in the shop. Manager at the location was able to find another they are delivering; however, my day is now delayed after planning it all out and will make it to my hotel very late in a cross country move. 2 stars for working out the reservation. No more for very poor reservation expectations and just not having themselves together. They had weeks and enough notice to have the items I needed when I was picking up. Hard to recommend to others that need tight planning and execution. If you don’t mind wasting your day to get an affordable truck then it might work for you. EDIT: Penske provided an addition discount for the car carrier delay. They were super helpful in getting the carrier to me and with trying to accommodate for the missed pickup window. We still got to our destination really late because of the delay. Be sure you confirm with the location the day before what time you will be there to pick up your item. Also be aware that Penske box trucks leak water so make sure you protect all your items that could be damaged by water with plastic.
