I’ve just wrapped up my 3rd renovation using Medallion Cabinetry and Melissa D as my designer!! The cabinets are outstanding quality, style, and available options. I appreciate the follow up from my designer and she was attentive to my and my clients needs, wants, desires. When one small issue did arise, Melissa was quick to get it resolved and virtually no delay in the overall projects timeline. I especially love the mockup renderings provided!! This ensures that everyone is on the same page and tweaking was a breeze

Buyer beware - multiple quality issues: 1. Paint job is very poor. Multiple doors have very obvious missed paint around the door panel edges. The touch-up kit tip is not small enough fit in this area. Crown moulding received is a different shade of white 2. Multiple cabinets arrived damaged. One had a side that was completely detached from the frame which was very poorly constructed/attached in the first place. They will replace it but that leads me to issue 3 3. Warranty is not worth it because it takes 5+ weeks to get a replacement (then have to have someone reinstall/etc) 4. Many have cracked corner seams (I expected some visible seams due to wood expanding and contracting; however, many have stress cracks aside from the visible seam) 5. Multiple doors are warped (and could not be fixed with adjustment to the hinges) 6. Drawer inserts look very cheap are not built into the drawers so I would recommend purchasing these elsewhere (we only purchased because I thought they would be more integrated with the cabinets) Please be very wary of the influx of 5 star reviews that happened about 3 months ago (very suspicious timing and quantity after several very poor reviews). I regret not trusting my gut on the earlier (bad) reviews All that said - we went with Medallion because that is what my parents installed 15-20 years ago and they have held up well. Theirs are stained, ours are painted which could be part of the problem. Price was reasonable compared to other quotes but not worth the quality issues in my opinion.

We built our home a year ago and selected Medallion cabinets to install in our kitchen and could not possibly be happier with our choice. We purchased them from JP3 Kitchen and Bath in Wentzville, MO. They were so professional and the process could not have gone smoother. Our designer, Melissa Stage was so great to work with and did an amazing job understanding our vision. We installed Buff painted perimeter cabinets with Ameretto island and vent hood. We absolutely love the look of the cabinets, and we’ve had so many compliments. The soft close doors and drawers are amazing. The two-tier slide out silverware drawer keeps all our silverware in one spot and keeps it all so nice and tidy. We had a slide-out shelf installed on one of the lower cabinets that makes it very easy to access everything and keeps my bakeware all organized. We also love the spice pull out cabinet by our stove. It is so nice to have everything accessible when I’m cooking. We wanted a glass front cabinet to display our “nicer” dishes and that is my favorite part of the design. Because we have five children and eight grandchildren and we have cream-colored cabinets, we have had a scratch or two show up in the past year. The touch up kit that was provided with the cabinets worked perfectly to cover any mishaps. The cabinets are made so well, though, we have only had to use it a couple of times. These cabinets are so durable and built so well and look far more expensive than any other cabinets we looked at…and we looked at A LOT! I can honestly say that they look just as good today as when they were installed a year ago. In the end, we are so happy we chose Medallion cabinets and I could not love my kitchen more!

Bought medallion cabinets through Menards biggest mistake ever. They won’t even respond to my email my house has been ripped apart for a month doing a renovation and we are ready for cabinets to be installed. The cabinets came in damaged and they say well the best we can do is replace them it will take 4 weeks. Very disappointing I’ll never buy from this company again also I will never buy a thing from Menards again they are as equally awful to find a remedy. It’s literally three cabinets and it’s going to take 4 weeks what a joke.

So I don’t typically do reviews on google, but these cabinets were so bad that I couldn’t not share my opinion on this garbage. I’ll start off by saying that a one star rating is too generous for this company, but since I can’t rate them at a zero, 1 star will have to do. First off, I was hired to install these cabinets for a customer that was doing a high end kitchen remodel. I’ve been doing this for a while and I’m able to compare these cabinets to many others that I’ve installed, giving me a pretty good perspective on what quality cabinets should look like. Shipping and packaging. Whoever thought it was a good idea to staple the boxes to the backs and bottoms of all the cabinets needs to actually go about unpacking an entire kitchen and try removing the hundreds of staples. Seriously, why do they do that? As far as protecting the cabinets from scratches and dings during shipment, they did ok. But we did receive two cabinets that had literally fallen apart during shipping because the build quality was so poor. I had to rebuild them on site because they were basically held together by hopes and dreams. There was no glue, only a few small brad nails, couple screws and a few staples. Even the cheap, bottom of the barrel, unfinished, made from particle board Home Depot brand cabinets have hot glue and a bunch of crown staples holding them together. But not these though, guess they were trying to save money by not using glue or something. One of our 8’ end panels arrived with the face frame falling off of it. It was very well packaged and the box wasn’t damaged at all. The 1x2” maple piece just fell off. Not a drop of glue was used and only some short brad nails and wood filler was holding it on. Paint quality. (Or lack there of) Without a doubt these had the worst paint job on any set of cabinets I’ve ever seen in the 20+ years I’ve been doing this. Two of our 8’ tall end panels weren’t even painted. They only had primer on them. The fillers are a different shade of white than the cabinets, and you can tell they have a thicker coat as well. The paint on the doors is so thin you can see all the scuff marks from the sanding process. It also chips extremely easily. The stain on two of the island cabinet doors isn’t even close to the others. The cabinet with the glass doors has missing paint spots inside. Also two of the panels still had the masking paper and painters tape on them from when they sprayed. These literally look like they were sprayed in someone’s carport with a can of spray paint that they bought from the dollar tree. And then they were too lazy to remove all their prep materials. How on Gods green earth do you not see an 8 foot tall piece of brown paper attached with painters tape to something you’re shipping out? Build quality. I’m not even sure where to begin with this. It’s just terrible, plain and simple. The rails and stiles are twisting and cracking. They only used a single pocket screw on each end to secure them. Even the cheap cabinets I install use two screws on each end and glue which keep them from twisting. A number of the doors were not made square. Decorative end panels were not made square. The hinge cup holes and screw mounting holes in the face frames were not in the same locations, so lining up all the doors wasn’t possible with how they were installed at the factory. I had to remove all the doors and re-drill the holes for the screws because I ran out of adjustment in the hinges. A number of the wall cabinets were built way out of square etc etc…..There were a bunch of other build quality issues, but at this point, I think you’re probably getting the idea. Overall these are garbage cabinets to the highest degree built by people that don’t know what they’re doing and with no real QC present. Please, do yourself a favor and buy your cabinets from literally anywhere else. Do not spend your hard earned money on this trash. If these look this bad right now without even having been used yet, I can’t imagine what they’re going to look like in a year or two or more.
