Long-Term Parking

I had a fantastic experience with The Parking Spot JFK during my recent travels out of IAH. It was my first time ever using The Parking Spot, so I had budgeted extra time based on what other reviews had said. However, everything went so smoothly and I didn’t need the extra time! For reference, I paid for my reservation ahead of time and chose the covered parking section. When I arrived on a Thursday morning (~8:30am), an employee checked me in and told me which row to park in. Within 4 minutes of parking, a shuttle came and picked me up, and 10 minutes later I was dropped off at Terminal C. The bus driver was incredibly kind and got up to help all passengers with their luggage. They give you a small card with your parking spot number on it so you don’t forget it while you’re gone. Then you give it to the driver on your return trip so they know where to drop you off. Upon returning on a Sunday afternoon, it just so happened that the second I walked out of the terminal, a return shuttle pulled right up! I got on and was dropped back off at my exact parking spot in 10-15 minutes! Also, my return flight was delayed by an hour, and I was able to adjust my checkout time via the app so that I wouldn’t be late and charged for an extra day. My experience went as smoothly as it ever could and I’m super pleased with it! I will definitely be using this service again in the near future.

I feel that the shuttle driver did not try to optimize the drop-off route. The shuttle circles again and again in the lot, leaving a row for another, just to get back later. It took like 15 minutes from entering the lot to reaching my car. The shuttle was full so it naturally took longer, but it still feels much longer than necessary. It was a stressful night after storm so I understand the driver is tired and optimize the route takes extra effort. If Parking Spot is investing in the app, maybe it's also a good idea to have some software optimize the route for the driver.

Every time I fly, I always use this service. It is easy to make a reservation online. When we arrive, it's easy to find a parking spot, and I know my car will be safe. The attendants are very nice, and helpful. On our most recent trip, we needed to jumpstart our car and they were quick to offer help. This will always be my go-to place to park!

Miss Lauren at the checkin and Ms. Seria (spelling not sure) Sah-Ree-ah was so kind to everybody. She just started three weeks ago. I feel bad. She didn’t have a cash app Venmo. I did not have cash. I’m going to get cash on my trip and hopefully I see her on the way back. She had waters. She offered to everybody and had such a sweet and kind spirit. I hope she stays a long time at this job cause she made my morning a great start.
