I had an amazing experience with Emma and couldn’t be happier with my haircut. From the moment I sat in her chair, she made me feel comfortable and really took the time to listen to what I wanted while offering professional advice based on my hair type and face shape. Emma is incredibly talented, patient, and detail-oriented, and it truly shows in her work. She never rushed the process and made sure everything was done perfectly. The final result exceeded my expectations — my haircut looks beautiful, feels healthy, and is so easy to style. On top of her skill, Emma is warm, friendly, and genuinely cares about her clients, which made the entire experience even better. I left feeling confident and extremely happy, and I would highly recommend Emma to anyone looking for a stylist they can truly trust.

I had such a wonderful experience getting my haircut with Isaac! He is incredibly talented and so much fun to work with. I have not gotten a haircut in a long time as I was growing my hair for donation, and he knew exactly what to do for the hair donation and also gave me a great shorter cut. The salon itself is very accessible for my manual wheelchair, and there’s even an accessible bathroom, which made the whole visit stress-free. Isaac is also always willing to help when I need help transferring in and out of the shampooing chair. On top of that, the salon smells amazing, and the entire staff is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend! Will be a regular for sure. Thank yall so much.

I have been going to Josephine's in Rice Village for 6 years. Isaac has been my guy the whole time. He is the only one in all my years of looking for a hairstylist who gets my curly/wavy frizzy hair. I have moved to D.C. and I will still fly back so Isaac is do my hair. He's very thoughtful, precise, and amazing at guiding me through what color would look best for me. We've gone through oil spill color to a more grown up brown. Isaac has made my hair match every stage of my career. I clearly cannot recommend him highly enough.

Would recommend salon and specifically Paige highly. I’m new to the area and had to find - and more importantly entrust - myself to a new hairdresser - Paige listened & responded so well to my expectations. Couldn’t be more thrilled with outcome. Paige is a real asset and I look forward to becoming one of her “regulars”.

Thank you Emma, I absolutely LOVE my hair! I had to book a super last-minute appointment with Emma as a new client and she still fit me in and did an amazing job on my cut and balayage!! I’ve also had my hair done by Isaac and Alea before, and they both did an incredible job with my balayage and trims too. Every time I go to Josephine’s, I leave feeling beautiful — you really can’t go wrong with anyone there!
