We hired Houston Deck and Shade (HD&S) to build (2) TREX decks at our home. The project, which began with the initial visit with Aaron, who was professional and thorough in understanding our requirements, to the pre-construction meeting with Rusty to confirm the project process, to the actual work performed by Memo and his amazing crew, to completion of the project and concluded with our final walk through with Rusty, to ensure our satisfaction. Everything discussed and promised was provided! Since completion everyone, including other contractors have expressed amazement at the beauty & quality of the work. Thanks to everyone at HD&S for an incredible experience and (2) beautiful decks. We are thoroughly enjoying it! HD&S are skilled professionals and we highly recommend them to anyone.

Our new composite deck, outdoor cooking area, and canopy covered patio swing has completely transformed our backyard into a space we absolutely love! The guys at Houston Deck and Shade screened in a back porch patio at our Onalaska lake house. The installation was done in two short days and more than surpassed our expectations. The guys made sure that the materials used matched the existing structure, did a very professional job and left us with a beautiful, comfortable, bug-free patio. The screens have held up very well in some of the most radical wind and rain 3vents. The breeze still makes it through and views are still fantastic………but no bugs! My beautiful wife and I enjoy our patio daily and are thrilled that we got the right folks from Houston Deck and Shade to do the job. I highly recommend these guys.

I have been utilizing Houston Deck and Shade on several projects over the last 7 years. I am a commercial general contractor by trade, so my husband and I have an eye for detail and we do not accept anything short of excellence when it comes to quality. Houston Deck and Shade NEVER falls short of quality, and they take Customer Satisfaction to the next level. From the initial consultation to the final punch list they are on top of everything from communication to execution. I highly recommend Houston Deck & Shade and will continue to utilize them for all of our projects!

Houston Deck and Shade are very professional and put out quality work. I contracted them to build a 5,500 SF boardwalk ellipse. The boardwalk had several unique features including ramps, built in benches, curved edging, and curved retaining walls. This deck had to be built to an exact spec and they did just that. Their crew worked extended hours though the Texas summer heat to insure all schedules were kept. They are as professional as it gets. If I could give 10 stars I would! If you are ever at the Johnson Space Center please stop by the B37 Interpertive Park to see their craftsmanship first hand.
