Recently I got them install Media Filters in both of my AC Units and got all the ducts sanitized and cleaned by their special cleaning tools. The other technician fixed UV LIGHTS in the system to kill all bacteria and fungal growth. They did a good job and followed all protocols for cleaning and installation without dirtying any of our rooms.

In 2024, Air Specialist installed a new air conditioning system at my house and their technician told me that the filters for the new system were 20x25x4 in size. I ordered 5 filters from Amazon, and an Air Specialist technician installed one of the filters some months later. Today, during a service call, an Air Specialist technician told me the filters were the wrong size. By now, it was too late to return the unused filters to Amazon so that was a loss to me of about $100. If the technician who installed the wrong filter previously had told me that the filters were not the right size, I could have returned the unused filters to Amazon and gotten my money back. The right and wrong filters both are labeled as being 20x25x4. The “actual size” of the correct filter, however, is 19-15/16x24-7/8x4-3/8 while the “actual size” of the filters that I bought is 19-1/2x24-1/2x3-3/4. No one at Air Specialist told me about any difference in “actual size” of the filters until today, and their technician who installed the wrong sized filter previously apparently did not know about the size difference either. I ended up having to buy a correctly sized filter from Air Specialist at an inflated cost of $50 to $55 vs. approximately $40 on Amazon. I have been buying filters for AC systems for 50 years and never have bought the wrong filter before. The filters I bought were in reliance on exactly what Air Specialist told me, and their failure to refer me to the “actual size” has cost me in excess of $100. When I spoke to an Air Specialist manager named Andrew, he refused to sell me the correctly sized filter for $40 since I now was in a bind as a result of relying on their filter buying instructions, and he could not have cared less that the company had cost me $100+. Before I decided to buy the right-sized filter from Air bSpecialist, he did agree that the company would come back and install the right filter after I ordered it from Amazon without charging me for a service call. But I subsequently decided that I did not want to continue to do business with a company that had little to no regard for a 20-year customer. And I had been running into more and more problems with Air Specialist—there were mistakes with the new AC installation, there had been issues with service techs not showing up as scheduled and/or not doing proper maintenance checks, etc. So this was the last straw. P.S. If your system allowed zero stars, that would be my choice!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was extremely impressed with the level of professionalism and expertise Mark Brandt brought to the service call. His years of experience and deep knowledge were evident right away. He was able to clearly diagnose what was actually happening with my system — something several other companies failed to do. Unlike others who were vague and uncertain, Mark was confident, thorough, and precise in his assessment. He took the time to explain the situation in a way that made sense and gave me a clear path forward to get the problem properly resolved. It’s refreshing to work with someone who truly understands his craft. I have nothing but high praise for Mark and sincerely appreciate his wisdom, honesty, and professionalism. I highly recommend Air Specialist and Mark to anyone looking for knowledgeable and trustworthy HVAC service.

I called Air Specialist to come do a check on my dad’s AC unit and help him with some thermostat issues. I was present when Frank came and was very impressed with the customer service. He was patient and answered all my dad’s questions. He did a great job and AC is working great again! I would highly recommend Air Specialist and specifically Frank as a technician!

Carlos, Brady, Mauricio did an amazing job. Mauricio had another worker, I did not get his name but he was also amazing. They did everything from diagnosis, consult and install in less than 24 hours. Great customer service. I highly recommend Air Specialist. Had a drain issue and Geoff can out immediately. He was very friendly and provided a wealth of knowledge. I highly recommend Air Specialist for all AC and Plumbing needs! 5+ stars. Just had a post install check and had another 5 star service by James. Highly recommend!
