I went to them for my 1st oil change on my 2025 jeep. A few days later my engine light comes on. The next day, I go back to kwik kar and inform them that my engine light was on after their oil change. The mechanic looked at it and informed me that the car was reading a code he wasn’t familiar with and referred me back to the dealership. I take my car to the dealership and they inform me that Kwik Kar did not our the cap back on after my oil change. According to the dealership, the repair for their mistake would cost $400. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! PICTURES BELOW.

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP EVER! I mean unless you enjoy an unprofessional owner (Scott) who take no accountability and speaks down to customers. I’ve been coming to this location for 20 years because I believe in supporting small, local businesses. Unfortunately, today was the last time. Kwik Kar on Washington serviced my Alfa Romeo knowing they couldn’t fully complete the job—and never informed me until after the oil change. The attendant even admitted, “we have problems with Alfas; you’ll have to go to the dealership.” Yet, they went ahead and executed on the oil change anyway. When I questioned this, I was told the “couldn’t find me.” Which is true- I walked to the coffee shop instead of waiting in the waiting room. But when I pressed them on why they proceeded - he reluctantly acquiesced to that not being the proper procedure. So when I asked how can I be assured this was handled Priestley I was given some lame excuse about the light not having meaning- what? Instead of arguing I simply said, “I’ll pay now.” And I did. I went out to get in my car and was told they were still working on it. The attendant then contacted the owner, Scott. Who was nothing less than nasty. He began the conversation questioning my patronage to his shop. Speaking down to me and using his large, muscular stature to attempt to intimidate me. I was on the phone sharing my frustration when he walked up behind me and immediately got defensive, interjecting and interrupting my conversation saying “we are not condescending.” He went on to get aggressive. I felt threatened and simply wanted to leave the spot quickly. I ultimately had to drive my own car out the bay. Instead of evaluating the situation and discussing my legitimate concern he, instead immediately dismissed my concern without even knowing the situation. It was, and he is completing unprofessional. What’s worse, he assumed I came here because in his words- it was “cheaper than the dealership.” That couldn’t be further from the truth. I’ve chosen this shop for two decades out of loyalty, not cost. Sir, I drive an Alfa- money is clearly not the issue here. His final words — “don’t come back here” — sealed the deal. I think this was a desperate attempt to “save face,” in front of the other customers that were now starring based on his unprofessional interaction with me and my already stating I would not return and encourage others also to not patronize this location. If you value respect, transparency, and professionalism, take your car elsewhere. There are plenty of Kwik Kar locations — this one no longer deserves loyal customers. #ATargetBusiness

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful! I have been here for oil change, tire fills, and brake light replacements. Every time I’m there I get great, quick service and a reasonable price.

I have been going to them for at least ten years now! Friendly and Trustworthy. They have done more than change the oil or inspection. They have alerted me to potential problems which likely saved me money and headaches!

Convenient affordable efficient effective legit The staff was friendly and courteous came out to meet me immediately to see what my needs were got me in within 5 to 7 minutes inspection was complete within 10 minutes and I was on my way with a smile. The general manager does it by the book, the way it supposed to be. He serious about his duty to keep Texas vehicles up to or above standard if they’re gonna be on the road. so don’t stop by here not in possession of any of the required documentation being current or your vehicle requirements below the acceptable minimums intending to slip your vehicle inspector a nice tip and have him look the other way; as it ain’t going to happen here folks. This is my 3rd visit at this location for a vehicle inspection within the last 5 years and each visit has been consistent. Meeting if not exceeding my general expectations. Plus as you see in one of the photos there’s a sonic right next-door. so if you’re there for a service that requires a little bit more time. you can always stroll right next-door and have a little lunch and get you a cold mango slush on one a dem hot H-town dayz... Thanks Guys, Appreciate the first in quality first in service treatment DC
