Evgo Fast Charging

Stopped in here in August 2025. The location is easy to get to. The app and GPS leads right to it. I opted for the faster DC charger. Pulled off nearly 312Kw for a duration and slowed down. I have my vehicle set for 80% and it nearly made it to. The charger hiccupped a bit and paused but I was pressed for time so I disconnected and left. It got me from 20% to 70% in under 30 minutes. Mind you, my vehicle is on the large side and while percentages matter, my SUV has quite a bit of range and battery. The location is well marked and a wide open parking lot. It is fairly safe for the area, but always be mindful. There were ample spaces for EVs, and they were all open, however, the app did show couple as 'busy' when there wasn't anyone there. Likely a malfunction not registered. If in the area and need fast DC charger, I would stop in here again.

2 of the fast Chargers are not working because Chiller coolant output feed sensor is broken. I called customer service, they did a soft restart and the B charger which shows as online was confirmed to be faulty as well. The issue was escalated. Feel free to call their number to check if it's working before heading here.

This is my first time using an evgo station. There were 6 car in front of me. This was one of the few ev stations that were available and online after Hurricane Beryl blew through Houston. I have no electricity at home so I don’t mind waiting in line.

Perfect charging session @ 243kW. The station was readily available and connected quickly.

Fast charger worked well, but it is a questionable part of town. Bars on windows and doors surrounding the Chargers
