My experience tonight at The Deck left a bad taste. Two women sitting near us — both clearly coming from work (still wearing their Chase Bank badges) — were calm, quiet, and minding their business. Meanwhile the bar had country music playing loudly throughout the venue. Yet somehow they were singled out and asked to turn their phones down and lower their voices, even though they weren’t causing a disturbance. So they moved outside in an attempt to accommodate the HER! What stood out even more was the bartender positioning herself near the door and repeatedly watching their every move like they were doing something wrong. Anyone observing the situation could see the attention felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. When a place treats certain guests differently while others are doing the same thing, it raises real questions about fairness and hospitality.

I come here often. Good neighborhood bar. Please be careful! The pours can be intense. The menu is actually surprisingly good for a dive bar. They are lacking in the desert area, but otherwise always a good meal.

Wings were gummy like they weren't fully cooked. When I sent the order back to the waitress, her response was "what is your complaint?" which was a little off putting... Decided not to order anything else based on the attitude alone. Not my first time at the rodeo with her either as when I asked if the chili on the hot dogs contained pork, she wouldn't even look me in my face when responding and seemed genuinely annoyed with my question. The place has potential because of their week day specials but I won't be partaking.

Had an amazing experience at The Deck! Kenny, my bartender, went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I ordered the crawfish and pork chop dinner plates, and not only was the food delicious, but the service was top-notch. Kenny was incredibly attentive, never letting my glass go empty, and even went the extra mile to help me box my food. As someone in the service industry myself, I truly appreciate great hospitality, and this was by far one of the best experiences—both in affordability and service. Thank you, Lord, good service still exists! I’ll definitely be back!

Nice atmosphere and they always have the games on! Praise to the service, and food it was amazing! Court the waitress made sure we were taken care of, and made sure we didn’t need a single thing. She made our first time there worth it! Shout-out to The Deck!
