Atty Rachel J. worked silently in the background without me knowing. My case was very common, but she came in the mediation looking out in my behalf. Not too hard but with serenity. This one I got—- she got a big heart! And I thanked the Lord up above for that.. she is truly heaven sent! A gate keeper for lost and broken soul like me…..( she pretty too!)😂 Beauty and Brain! With a golden heart! What Else can you ask for’….

Did nothing for me. Waste of 16k. They will make an offer to opposing party and after excepted find a problem with there own offer just to charge more money. They gave me my best case scenario? That's why I hire a lawyer to get better than that. They didn't try.

Cordell & Cordell charged me over $8,000 for an uncontested divorce—no court, no custody issues, no mediation, no asset division—and delivered nothing but minimal effort, inflated billing, and a cash retention scheme. My attorney, Rachel Jagnanan, was rude, dismissive, and completely unengaged. The final decree wasn’t even drafted by Cordell—it came from my ex-wife’s attorney. My ex and I handled the entire divorce ourselves over email. Cordell just processed forms and billed me for the privilege. But here’s the worst part: Cordell didn’t close my case until 36 days after the final order was signed—and only after I followed up. Then they held my remaining trust balance for another three weeks until I called again to demand my money back. No explanation. No urgency. Just delay and silence. Cordell & Cordell claims to support men through divorce. What I got was neglect, attitude, and a slow-drip billing model designed to keep the meter running as long as possible. Avoid this firm. They don’t fight for you—they just charge you.

I spoke to a few different law firms and attorneys prior to Cordell & Cordell. All of them were men and quickly jumped to my finances and how much I could expect to pay for child support. When I visited Cordell & Cordell, I spoke with Kara Garcia. She heard me. She made me feel like I mattered as a father and actually listened to me. She didn't shoot out a bunch of numbers but asked about events, incidents, issues and relationships. Cordell & Cordell was great and Kara Garcia is a great reason why. They are father focused and communicate every single detail and answer every single question. Unfortunately, I was unable to afford their representation anymore. If I could have I would say that every single dollar would be worth it. As I near the end of my divorce I've been told by opposing attorneys that my lawyer looks like she was very aggressive and trying to get you everything you asked for. Kara Garcia is very well versed in family law, polite, empathetic professional and strong. Great firm!
