I’ve been working with Cooper CPA Group since 2009, and they’ve handled all of our taxes and related matters over the years. The service has been consistently excellent across their entire team. They are responsive, thorough, and professional. I trust them completely. They’re knowledgeable not just about tax filings but also broader business and financial strategy. They’ve played a meaningful role in helping me grow and make better decisions over time. Highly recommend.

Not one complaint. Truly. Ana Williams has been the lead on our very complicated and messy accounting situation, and she has been an absolute Godsend. We learned the hard way how critical it is to have the right people in your corner, especially when it comes to taxes, compliance, and navigating complex codes. From day one, Cooper CPA has operated with professionalism, discretion, and what I would absolutely call white-glove service. They are fast, responsive, deeply researched, and incredibly thorough. But what sets them apart is how clearly they explain things and how confident you feel after speaking with them. In business, peace of mind is priceless. We’re grateful to have found a firm that delivers both expertise and integrity. 5 Stars: • Fast and responsive • Educated and research-driven • Thorough and strategic • Humble and professional They stepped into a complex multi-entity cleanup, brought order quickly, and are helping us restructure in a way that protects our long-term growth. Highly recommend.

Cooper CPA Group delivered an exceptional due diligence report. Their comprehensive analysis didn't only include Quality of Earnings, but also in-depth market intelligence, benchmarking, valuation multiples comparisons, as well as thorough risk identification and mitigation strategies. Gary and Victoria are great professionals. I highly recommend Cooper CPA Group to any entrepreneur considering the acquisition of small to mid-sized businesses.

If you are a business owner who values integrity, contractual clarity, and transparent billing, read this carefully. We were clients of Cooper CPA Group for seven (7) years. We executed our annual formal engagement agreement with Cooper CPA Group for our 2024 tax return and paid the required retainer in full. That payment was made in good faith pursuant to a signed agreement. Months later — without authorization — that 2024 retainer was internally reallocated to cover newly issued 2023 invoices. After doing so, the firm then represented that the 2024 retainer had not been paid and demanded a substantially higher retainer to proceed with work that was already under contract. Let’s pause there. A paid retainer tied to an executed engagement was moved internally, and then we were told we hadn’t paid. When questioned, the situation was minimized as a “fee dispute.” Shortly thereafter, the firm disengaged — nearly a year after we had signed the 2024 engagement letter and paid the retainer tied to it. Throughout the process there were: • Retroactive invoice adjustments • Payments applied in ways not clearly authorized • Surprise balances appearing after accounts were represented as current • Repeated delays despite follow-ups • Assertions that substantial “bookkeeping cleanup” was required — despite evident categorization errors in the firm’s own entries Professional accounting firms are expected to maintain clear ledgers, apply retainers properly, and communicate material changes before altering the financial status of an engagement. That did not occur here. This is not about fees. Professionals charge professional rates. This is about process, transparency, and honoring executed agreements. When a firm reassigns a paid retainer, then claims nonpayment, then increases the retainer requirement, then disengages — that is not a billing misunderstanding. That is a breakdown in professional administration. Other business owners deserve to understand how their engagement may be handled. Do your due diligence.
