I was here on Tuesday. I arrived at 10:55, got a ticket, and by 11:20 I already had my car registration ready. Everything was convenient and fast. The only thing is that I parked in a paid lot, but I think that’s why there weren’t too many people here. Also, many service windows were open. I recommend it.

I had a special situation where I had to go to this downtown office, instead of the suburb satellite offices. While it was a 45 minute drive in traffic to get there, my appointment started on time and it was wrapped up in 30 minutes on the 2nd floor. On the first floor where the normal transactions take place, there were only 2 people at the windows and two people sitting down, vs the crowded waiting area at the Clay Road and Cypress Hill offices! Warning..the parking across the street was $17 !

On 12/12/25, I had to go into the Tax Office to correct a mistake either the Office or I had made at my visit on 12/11/25. I called prior to going as my health is a concern at this time. The customer service representative said I must go back to the Office. A few minutes later, she called me back and was very helpful and said she had spoken with a manager on-site and they knew my situation and I could go back in and fix the issue. When I went in and kindly explained this, the security officer went into the staffing area to relay this information. When he said, “she was told to speak to a manager”, the woman sitting in the middle, behind the windows (she was wearing a brown shirt with long black hair) looked at me through the window and laughed and the woman at the window (window #5) laughed and they started speaking Spanish and laughing as I waited for direction. I don’t know how a disability is funny. I waited my turn the day before, followed the instructions the customer service representative had given me this morning, and I did not deserve to be laughed at. It is difficult enough to be in a situation where your health has failed you earlier than expected and to have them mock me was humiliating and uncalled for. I work at a university with numerous faculty, staffers, and students, and I would never laugh at anyone who came into the office I manage who was genuinely seeking help. It is disappointing these two people work for our community.

Work really close so went around my lunch time to get my vehicle registration sticker (that never came in the mail). It's a ticketing system so you get a ticket and wait. I waited a little over an hour. I overheard they were understaffed and it was around lunch time so I figured there would be a wait. Staff was really friendly and the process (for me) was really quick. Paid and got out of there.
