Had an amazing stay at Sonesta! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive to every detail. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully prepared, making our stay truly relaxing and memorable. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was peaceful and elegant, and the customer service exceeded our expectations. The amenities, cleanliness, and overall hospitality made this one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Thank you to the entire Sonesta team for making our visit so special. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and outstanding service!

I can honestly say that I am disappointed with the recent stay at this location. My husband and I book with the Royal Sonesta often when traveling but will have to reconsider for future traveling. We stayed here May 8th-10th for a quick weekend getaway. When we arrived, the bedding was not fresh and there were stains on the sheets, we had to call for service immediately after getting off our flight, we were exhausted. Our room was not serviced the entire weekend and the ice machine on our floor was broken. To put the icing on the cake we had charges on our room that we did not approve of. Someone at the bar charged their drinks and food to our room the entire weekend! It is a shame that there is no policy in place to confirm identities and room numbers at the bar before charging. I was LIVID. If you stay here please always get a copy of your receipt before departing the hotel. I am so glad we were able to catch this before leaving. I give our stay a 3.5/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I booked this hotel in mid-February through my company’s online travel agency. When I arrived at the hotel at 8 PM, the receptionist notified me that all rooms were sold out and they didn’t have a room for me. I found out there was a Convention happening in the town that week. They told me that they made a reservation at the Holiday in Express nearby. When they complained that I was meeting another coworker at the hotel and I didn’t need to stay in the same hotel, They kept telling me that are not available for me and nine other guests . The female manager also said they will pay for my Uber to the Holiday-inn Express. When I arrived at the Holiday—Inn, they told me that there was no room available for me. I contacted my company’s travel agency, and they found me a room much more expensive, over $600 a night; however, as I had no choice, I had to move to the hotel. Next two days I called the Royal Seneste Hotel’s manager trying to be paid for my Uber charges from the hotel to Holiday-inn to the new hotel, she would not answer my calls or called me back. Both the receptionist and the manager were extremely rude at the desk, and they were not even apologetic. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and I told my co-workers to avoid this hotel as well.

I had a fantastic stay at Royal Sonesta for a business conference. I decided to bring my husband and dog along and they had a great stay. Ms. Martha treated my corgi as true royalty! She brought him toys and treats the next day. 🥹 Absolute sweetest! Ms. Jasmine was also super kind in assisting us. Highly recommend staying here when in Houston!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Last week, I attended a work conference at the Royal Sonesta Houston Galleria, where I was scheduled to present on Thursday. When I arrived in the presentation room, I quickly realized the setup wasn’t ideal for a virtual session, small group discussions, and interactive activities. Two hotel team members were finalizing preparations, and I asked if they could help me with a couple of additional tables and tablecloths. Without hesitation, they replied, “Certainly, sir,” and immediately went to find what I needed. I stepped out briefly to gather my materials, and when I returned, everything was already set up perfectly—exactly how I envisioned it. I want to sincerely commend these employees for their professionalism, initiative, and willingness to assist on such short notice. Their actions reflect a strong hotel culture, excellent leadership, and a genuine commitment to guest success. Experiences like this are what truly set a place apart. The Royal Sonesta Houston Galleria delivers not just comfort, but outstanding service. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a top-tier experience! 🌟
