Mary’s service was impeccable, great service truly makes the food even more enjoyable. I came in for lunch and ordered the steak and chicken fajitas, which were incredible. I mentioned I wanted some green salsa for my tacos, and she kindly brought out a variety of salsas for me to try. She was so warm and attentive, and the food was amazing, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Plus, the weather was perfect for sitting on the patio, making it an ideal weekday lunch. Alright Houston hunnies!! Tis the season to treat yourself to a wonderful restaurant! And Escalante's is THAT restaurant to head over to! My job went for our Christmas party 🥳 and Escalante's food, atmosphere and service all deserve 5 🌟! Our server Eduardo was attentive but also let us enjoy our party. He was funny and enjoyable and him and the staff kept our cups filled and bellies full. The fajita steak family style dinner was AMAZING 👏🏾 the margaritas were balanced to perfection! I want to take my family back next week and end 2025 with them!

A clear step above typical Tex-Mex. Spicy margarita was perfectly balanced, and the queso with meat and pico had real flavor. Skirt steak fajitas were incredibly tender, and the homemade tortillas made it even better. Tableside guacamole was fresh and worth it. Sal was an excellent server—attentive, friendly, and gave great recommendations. Will definitely be back.

Disclaimer: I took the photos after I started to eat, so they might not look as presentable. Absolutely phenomenal experience! From the moment we sat down, everything was top-tier. The guacamole was some of the freshest I’ve ever had perfectly seasoned, chunky, and made in front of you. If you’re asking yourself, should I get the white queso? The answer is DUH! Pure perfection. Creamy, rich, and packed with flavor without being too heavy. I could’ve made a meal out of just chips, guac, and queso! The fajitas were amazing! They came out sizzling hot, beautifully seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and juicy and everything tasted incredibly fresh. Every bite was better than the last. Honestly, every single thing we ordered was incredible. You can tell they put care and quality into every dish. If you’re craving amazing Mexican food, this place is an absolute must-visit. Can’t wait to go back!

My experience at the restaurant was excellent thanks to James and Lisa. They were both friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. James was professional and helpful with recommendations, while Lisa checked in regularly and made us feel welcome. Their teamwork and great customer service really stood out. Thank you both for making my visit enjoyable—I look forward to coming back!
