Black Rock Coffee Bar

This was my first time trying Black Rock Coffee, and I was thoroughly impressed! I ordered the Caramel Blondie, and it was absolutely delicious—easily one of the best drinks I’ve had across all the coffee spots I’ve visited. The shop itself was clean, modern, and inviting, with plenty of parking available, which made the visit even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I like BR coffee and have visited several across the Houston area. This one the coffee was just as good as the others. The staff were friendly and helpful. The reason for my low review rating is due to the below. I felt like I was in a club from the moment I walked in. The music was so loud you could hear it at the door. Due to the music volume, folks in the shop were talking so loud you could barely hear yourself think. Much less when they called your order out. The chairs and tables were horrible. Nothing says we do not want you to stay long, like hard metal cold chairs and high top tables.

Wow I always go to Black Rock, but this visit was just exquisite. James was so welcoming, entertaining, and bubbly. He had great music taste, and I enjoyed every single song he played. He interacted with us well every time there was no customers he needed to take care of. He was always busy and doing something, rathee than standing around. Overall, this experience at Black Rock has been my favorite experience yet, and I am a very frequent customer. Please give James a raise :) Thank you

Went here for a quick coffee pick up and ordered five drinks. The vibe in the shop was awesome and the employees were super friendly and helpful. Also, the coffees came out fast and tasted really good. And the Mexican mocha is delicious!

First time here and we went through the drive thru so I was trying to ask a question and the young lady was rude I felt because she kept stating order at the window and I found it weird that the person did want to take the order at the drive thru post. So we pulled up to the window the line was a little long at the time. So getting got window we ordered. I asked for a mocha chiller with whip cream. When the gave it to me the young lady was like oh we added Carmel to the mocha is that ok! I’m like the line is long at this point I just took it even though that is not how I ordered it and didn’t want to hold the line up for it to be remade. Maybe I’ll try again another day. But definitely was happy about this. There was to thank you or anything upon leaving. Better customer needs to be made here.
