Horrible experience!! After seeing Dr. Fernandez and his staff for about six weeks, I had a visit with my PCP. Told her what I’ve been doing with them and she immediately told me to stop going to him. I told her I had an appointment in two days and she said call right now and cancel that appointment and do not go back to him after what he did. Thousands of dollars worth of supposed treatments and all the money I paid out of pocket in addition to my excellent insurance and I did not get better. I actually kept getting worse. One treatment touted so highly was not covered under insurance and they were very open about that. But they said it’s all the rage in Europe and while it’s very painful to get it done, it would make a dramatic difference in my healing. Well, it was very painful for four solid weeks of weekly ‘zapping’. An extremely expensive snake oil! But he’s a doctor so I assumed he was looking out for my best interest. I have always trusted the doctors that I go to, although I don’t go to doctors that often. And when my primary care told me to stop going to him immediately based on what he had been doing and charging me, I could tell she was serious, and that this guy was a major problem. Now I’m having issues with their billing department. Finally got a hold of the office manager, and she was referring to the fact that she’s not sure who sent me the last email correspondence because there’s no NAME or Office heading or anything on the email. I asked her do they let employees just take records home or off the Premises and she would not deny that fact. and did I mention that I’m worse after we completed all the ‘treatment’ than when I started? Spoke with the office manager, Ms Ngyuen (sp), Monday and she was very clear that if I didn’t like the bill or my service or the care I received, that was my problem as I should’ve read all the contract and all the disclosures and all the paperwork before each and every visit. She said the disclaimers protect them, no matter what the outcome is.

We had the BEST experience with Dr. Pigntti. I took my 10 yr daughter to have an ingrown toenail removed. We drove an hr & half. And it was so worth it! He was great with her, so patient. They joked and talked the entire time. When we left she said, "I like him. He was so nice" I highly recommend him to anyone.

One year (+2 months) update: I wish I had a picture of my feet pre surgery. My left foot looked the worst. My big toe still has a little lean to it but compared to pre-surgery, it's day and night difference (x-ray is of my left foot before & after surgery). He had to shave a little bone off to make it look this good. Although my left foot was deformed more, it was my right foot that caused me the most pain and was treated first (June 2023). My feet were slow to heal but Dr. Pignetti made sure I was comfortable and well cared for until he was satisfied with the healing. I have recommended him to many people from my husband to total strangers. That's not hyperbole! I overheard a conversation at the paint counter in Home Depot and ended up texting the paint counter clerk Dr. Pignetti's information. My husband has been seeing him for over a year and recently saw Dr. Fernando for another foot issue. Needless to say, we think the world of Dr. Pignetti and everyone in his office. Do not put off your foot care needs!!!! It's the only two feet God is going to give you!! Take care of them. Dr. Pignetti is simply a delightful doctor who cares about his patients. He goes above and beyond to make the procedure understandable and truly listens to questions & concerns. I have had two lapiplasty procedures done by Dr. Pignetti and both times I was nearly 100% pain free in the days following the surgery. I don't have a picture of my first results but I'm posting a picture of results from surgery three days ago. I am already walking in a boot & couldn't be happier.

I went there for ingrown nail extraction on both of my feet, Dr. Fernandez did it and the treatment for no regrow nail but my pain never left, I went back for check up and he gave me an antibiotic for healing but only the infection got out, my toes still hurts me a lot like the nail is still there or some leftover, I don't recommend it because I spent too much for a treatment that don't give me a cure.

I was referred to AFC by my dermatologist for an ingrown toenail that had given me much pain over a 3 week period. Dr. Fernando Fernandez, removed the ingrown toenail. He was very considerate of my level of pain during the in-office procedure and explained everything I needed to know. He is also personable and easy to talk to. Unlike some doctors today, he actually made me feel like he genuinely cared. I recommend Dr. Fernandez for ingrown toenails. Not sure of anything else he does, but I will surely use him again for anything needing done with my feet in the future.
