I purchased suya for 30 dollars and unfortunately more than 50 percent of my portion of it was fatty pieces rather than lean meat. I had to nitpick and inspect rather than enjoy my meal. Isn't the whole point of eating suya to eat lean meat? Being served such a poor grade of meat was honestly disrespectful. The next day I returned to remedy the situation. Mind you I have to drive all the way to Katy. And instead of displaying proper good customer service, the guy that sold me the meat had an attitude and said that "that's just the way things are." So if you're looking to gain weight , not eat nutritious food , and be disrespected then continue to dine here. Other than that, you're better off spending your hard earned money elsewhere. Just sharing my experience for others who may prefer leaner cuts.

I was in the shopping center and noticed the signage, so I decided to take a chance and give this restaurant a try since I was craving suya and pepper soup. Unfortunately, they did not have the pepper soup available. I then noticed the price of the beef suya ($30) and asked about the portion size/weight. After getting more information, I felt the price was significantly higher than what I expected for the amount provided. I decided to order the rice and beef stew instead. The young man who assisted me was very kind and friendly. However, he packed my food in a rush, and the container spilled inside the paper bag, so I had to repackage it and double bag it. After preparing my meal at home, I was disappointed with the flavor of the stew. I have enjoyed many plates and bowls of rice and stew, but this particular stew had a flavor profile that was unfamiliar to me. It reminded me more of a tomato-based pasta sauce than the traditional stew flavor I was expecting. I had to add several seasonings and adjustments to make it more enjoyable. That being said, the beef itself was tender and cooked well, which was a positive. Overall, I appreciate the friendly service, but based on my experience with the food and pricing, I most likely would not return unless they bring back pepper soup.

Kes Spicy was an amazing experience! Rolland provided outstanding service, super attentive and welcoming from start to finish. The music set the perfect vibe, and the food came out impressively fast, especially considering my meal was cooked to order. I ordered the suya noodles, and wow… they were incredible. Just the right amount of spice, definitely had a kick, but they were so good I couldn’t stop eating them. I’ll definitely be back to try their spaghetti! 🍝🌶️
