Sushi Monster

I've been to Sushi Monster a few times now, first time dined in and it was good, decided to order delivery and it was great and the most recent time ordered pick up. This most recent time was a total miss. Whoever did the spicy tuna sushi rolls this last time used entirely too much rice , much more than the previous times and they overlaped the fold on the rolls so it's thick double layered gummy rice at the part in the roll. Also my tuna roll (maki style) looks unappetizing, is falling apart, none of the the rolls are sealed (opening at each fold) so you can't even eat it like Sushi. Totally disappointed as it seems to be the age old story that the Sushi is only as good as the chef who's working that night. Still a great restaurant just highly disappointed they would send this level of food out the door.

We have been trying out different sushi restaurant and so far sushi monster is our winner in regards to the quality and price. The service was amazing. The sushis were exceptionally good. We loved the firecracker roll and shaggy dog. The happy hour deal on weekends for sushi is what got us here on the first place.

Great Tasting Sushi. If you haven't been, you have been missing out! I definitely recommend this restaurant (especially on the weekends for HH). They menu is very big so get ready to eat! We had the Pan Fried Gyoza with garlic sauce it was absolutely delicious. Nicely cooked with a tasty crisp. Must Try! The Shaggy Dog - Great recommendation and that spicy mayo just add that extra taste and flavor. The Las Vegas Roll - Great Tasting, cooked nicely, and the sauces complemented the sushi roll very well Yummy Yummy wasn't as yummy, but it wasn't bad. We will definitely be returning again! Last night was my first time at Sushi Monster. I have avoided the spot due to the high prices. It was good, but for the cost, I could have went to Kura Relvolving Sushi for more food and better prices. I would go back, but I'd have someone else pay.
