Sushi Hana

Adding this family friendly sushi spot to my local favorites list. This was my second visit, and it’s been a great experience both times. The service is always warm and attentive, and the staff are super friendly, which makes it an easy place to come back to. Food wise, the sushi and sashimi are my go to they’re consistently fresh and well prepared. The sushi bento box is also a really solid choice, especially if you want a bit of everything. It comes with tempura, grilled salmon, sushi rolls, plus sides like salad and soup, so it feels like a complete and satisfying meal. The udon noodles are another highlight, simple, comforting, and delicious. On top of all these, generous portion like Texas portion 😇😋. Overall, a reliable spot with good food, generous portions, and a welcoming vibe. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to.

They are so delicious, amazing, fresh food. This is my first time here. I like all the dishes I ordered. Service is so nice and friendly. House salad dressing is so special, I really love the sauce. I will be here every week.

We have been here a few times and it never disappoints. Every visit has been consistently great, from the quality of the food to the overall experience. The sushi always tastes fresh and is excellent, and the sashimi portions are a great size and taste amazing every time. The poke bowl is my favorite dish on the menu and even the leftovers still taste great the next day. The sushi overall is fantastic and the crabmeat puffs are some of the best we have ever had. The only small complaint I have is that the ramen broth needed a bit more flavor, but the pork belly pieces were cooked perfectly and were absolutely on point. This is a place we truly enjoy and will definitely keep coming back and recommending to others.

Absolutely Fresh and Delicious – Highly Recommend! I recently visited Sushi Hana Japanese Kitchen at 1638 S Mason Rd in Katy, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The sushi here is consistently some of the best in the area – super fresh fish, perfectly seasoned rice, and creative rolls that burst with flavor. Whether you go for classics like spicy tuna or their house special rolls, everything tastes incredibly fresh and well-prepared. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. The fried calamari was perfect – crispy on the outside, tender inside, and not at all greasy. It had just the right seasoning and came out hot and delicious. It’s easily one of the best appetizers I’ve had there (or anywhere recently). Bonus: Their lunch specials are a great value. The 3 Rolls Combo is an absolute steal for the portion and quality – pairs perfectly with miso soup or a fresh salad. Perfect for a quick, satisfying meal without breaking the bank. Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. If you’re in the Katy area and love sushi, do yourself a favor and check out Sushi Hana.
