For as small as this place was I was really impressed with their selection of bourbons, and their pricing—while higher than MSRP on certain allocated bottles—was very reasonable compared to other area retailers. Nice people, too. Definitely worth a stop!

This is a great locally owned and operated liquor store with friendly and knowledgeable staff. It’s nice to be able to shop and support a local store where the staff has the time to visit with you and learn what you like and can then make educated suggestions based off of your history. Sunset Liquor Store is my go-to liquor store in McQueeney. Great selection of beer, wine, and spirits, fair prices, and super friendly staff. The store is always clean and easy to get in and out of, which I really appreciate. If you’re looking for a reliable liquor store near me in McQueeney, this place is it. Highly recommend!

Don't let the size fool you! Unbelievable amount of choices from seltzers, beer, liquor and a beautiful wine selection. Very knowledgeable employees.
