Grateful we discovered this spot which is literally a couple minutes from us. As soon I entered, I was greeted by the friendly staff. We got seated immediately and within a few minutes, the restaurant almost filled up. I ordered the sampler plate to try a little bit of everything on their menu. The flautas were good. Chicken was not dry and had seasoning while the outside was nice and crispy. The fajita was so tender and flavorful as well. My wife ordered the pork enchiladas and was very happy with the dish. The serving is very generous and is flavorful as well. Also, do yourself a favor and get the margarita that is served in a patron bottle, it was on point! The friendly waitress checked on us regularly and gave us recommendations for our next visit. Excellent food, friendly staff, and great atmosphere!

Visited after lunch hours to check the place out. A few tables were left after lunch rush so we were seated quickly. Complimentary chips and salsa were yummy! The enchiladas were really good, the beef in it was moist and flavorful. We tried the spinach quesadilla and it wasn't our favorite, so get the enchiladas!! We tried two different dishes and both were really good. The beef fajita one was the best! There's bar seating and 🍸 🍹. Overall great local spot to eat at!

I recently visited Ruthie's Tex-Mex and had a pleasant experience. The ambience was lovely, and the food was delicious everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Although it was surprisingly quiet during my visit, the location might be a factor in the lower foot traffic. However, this didn't take away from the service both the receptionist and our waitress were incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment we walked in. The entire space was also clean, which I always appreciate. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a relaxed meal.

We came for an early dinner at 4:00pm on Sunday. There was only one waiter and the restaurant was fairly busy, service was slow. My husband ordered the Chicken Burrito and I ordered the Chalupas New Braunfels dinner which was supposed to come with two chalupas but only had one. I questioned why there was only one and was told they thought it was the lunch version although they didn’t sell that one on Sunday. They did bring the second one. The food was good. I especially liked the beans.

We were hungry, like moths, drawn in by the bright colors. The margarita was strong, tasted wonderful. House, frozen, salt on the rim. We ordered and were woefully saddened by the utter lack of taste. The bartender tried, but i was not drunk enough to enjoy bland chicken in a tastless sauce. I feel their chef is alergic to salt and/or any other seasoning besides pepper. The table sauces were great and went fantastically with the chips. Service was good and the atmosphere was fun! We will give it another try another day and see if the food was a temp problem or not.
