Millers Cafe

Stopped by for a lunch date with the Mrs. Since I had a Friday off for once. Came during lunch rush and it was busy, always a great sign when entering a place and the line did not go down during our vist. Millers is a classic 50's/ 60s style diner with great decor. Reminded me of watching an episode of pawn stars or American pickers with all the classic ads lined on the walls. Simple menu with multiple burger and sandwich options and counter service, lady working the front was very nice. They have a bar top as well as regular seating will definitely sit at bar top on next visit. I got the grilled onion burger and added bacon, there's also a separate bacon burger with grilled onion that come with bbq sauce. Partner grabbed a tuna melt and I was instantly jealous as I have been looking for a tuna melt for quite some time. Burger was fresh, came with a poppy seed bun, and the bacon was CRISPY. They also add mustard to their burgers which was a pleasant delight as most places don't. We shared a side of onion rings which were cooked to perfection, nice and crunchy but NOT burnt. Will definitely be stopping by next time I have a free lunch to try another one of their burgers or sandwiches. Ample parking as it's inside of a dollar tree shopping center.

We have been coming here for decades. If you want a great tasting old fashioned Burger, then this is your place. I recommend the bacon cheeseburger. Your order at the counter and sit down and wait for your food. The restaurant shows its age which gives it character.

This is not my official rating but for my first time it was just so simple , as a burger it was great but it was overwhelming with condiments, my fault I agree , for not speaking up but I wanted to give this place the chance to showcase their best.I ordered the jalapeno burger, a usual burger I always tend to get anywhere, I enjoyed the soft bun on the burger and it had a good amount of jalapenos, nothing to crazy about this , I of course will give this place another chance as it is a staple in the area near and far Ps. The guy was on his phone while we were trying to order and felt rushed when we did Service 3/5 Taste 3/5 Portion4/5 Price$10-$20

The World BEST Burger!! We have been to Miller’s for over 20 years, Medical Center location (lunch) and here (dinner, love Stacy!!). At this location, it is the original Miller’s, felt the Texas vibe in every corner. Working in medical center and brought many residents and guests, over hundred times and by far everyone sings the highest place of this Texas Home Hamburger. Very proud! All burgers are simply delicious, I personally love mushroom burger, the To-Die-For onion rings, potato fried, regular fried, and jelapenos pickle, Texas style! Our children also love Miller’s, cheese burger and their onion rings! The service has always been amazing! They also have never made you feel uncomfortable for tipping ever, only if you want to. Hope the Miller’s family will keep their beloved restaurants with Houston forever, 1980 and going. We want our grandchildren to have a chance to try the real Texas hamburger and onion rings, etc!!!!!

Located I guess Garden Oaks? Is Millers Cafe. Since 1980 this bad boy has been pumping em out (pause). It’s home to the world famous “almost famous burger”. Now I live closeish to here and just the random restaurant in a shopping center caught my eye. Now this is in a shopping center so there’s ample parking. Walk in and it’s straight outta a time long forgotten. Kind of. lol they literally have an old Houston Oilers schedule on the walls. I go up to order and am just amazed by the aesthetic of this place man. It’s like your favorite dive bars favorite dive bar. S/o @texasdives Chili 8/10 - just som quality chili there. Not too much cumin and not too hot. Just some nice food that’ll warm you up. Double Cheeseburger 8/10 - quality burger here. You know what you’re getting and it’s cooked right in front of you. Def one of those places you tell your gal you’re gonna take her to. One of those “they cook the food in front of you”. I fw the vibe of this place so much.
