La Pupusa Loca Restaurant

Definitely a must try if you are craving good El Salvadoran food!Pupusa were filled edge to edge with cheese and chicharron-the soup had plenty of meat and broth!!The atole de elote was sooo good and hot I would definitely get that again!!Overall the customer service was exceptional ,it was clean,the pupusas are made fresh , and there was no long wait at all! 10/10 would definitely recommend >.

ENGLISH I visited this restaurant today and witnessed a situation that left me disappointed. A DoorDash driver was trying to pick up an order for a customer named Vanessa. He asked for my help translating because the restaurant staff did not speak English. While helping, the cashier explained that their manager often places DoorDash orders for only one item and then later calls the restaurant to explain what the customer actually wants. In this case, according to the staff, the manager had not called yet. However, the order remained active in DoorDash and had never been canceled. The driver had been trying to get information about the order, but instead of receiving patience and assistance, I observed an unprofessional attitude toward him. The driver was simply doing his job. His responsibility was to pick up the order shown in the DoorDash system and deliver it to the customer. The confusion regarding the order was not his fault. I even politely mentioned that the way they were speaking about the situation and treating the driver did not reflect well on the restaurant. Delivery drivers are working professionals as well and deserve to be treated with respect. Unfortunately, my own experience was not positive either. When I went to pick up my order, the cashier responded with an unfriendly attitude and simply pointed to an area with many orders, expecting me to find mine myself. Customer service matters. The lack of communication, patience, and professionalism I witnessed toward both the DoorDash driver and myself as a customer left me disappointed.

I did see the other low star reviews but decided to give this place a try. I ordered El Tipico and 2 Pupusas and it was very delicious. I work nearby and definitely coming back here for lunch. Very well priced also.

The food was great…nothing burned, everything tasted great. The staff was really nice and our food came out on time. It didn’t take them forever to get our order out either. Why did I give them a four? Because they need to take some elbow grease into the place and clean it up…I would share pictures but that would take away from the food experience - it was great food really… There are reviews complaining about the wait time…do realize that the Covid after shocks have impacted most restaurants. It’s probably very difficult for them to find cooks and staff…a little patience goes a long way… There’s also a lot of parking and it’s easy to get into and out of.

Ordered via online. Wanted to try Salvadorean food. We ordered the Salvadorean breakfast which is served with 2 eggs, plantains, beans, and Salvadorean cream and cheese. We also ordered 3 carne asada beef tacos and a Carne Asada plate with rice, bean, salad, and tortillas. The food was okay, but not great.
