Imperial China Diner

I don’t normally write reviews, but after eating this, I had to give credit where credit is due. The portion size alone was enough to feed two people, but somehow I still found myself cleaning the plate. The combination plate was loaded with crispy battered chicken, huge chunks of imitation crab, fresh broccoli, carrots, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, onions, and water chestnuts all covered in a rich brown garlic-style sauce that hit every flavor note perfectly. The chicken stayed crispy even under the sauce, which is hard to do. Every bite had a little bit of everything and the vegetables were cooked just right—not mushy and not raw. The fried rice deserves its own review. A lot of places throw fried rice together and call it a day, but this one actually had flavor. It wasn’t dry, wasn’t greasy, and paired perfectly with the main dish. I kept telling myself “one more bite” and somehow the container was empty. What impressed me most was the balance. The sauce wasn’t overly salty, the vegetables tasted fresh, and the seafood and chicken combination worked way better than I expected. You could tell this wasn’t some frozen, microwaved takeout. Everything tasted freshly cooked and made to order. As someone who eats a lot of Chinese food, this is the type of meal that reminds you why you keep coming back. The portion was huge, the quality was excellent, and the flavor was on point from start to finish. If you’re debating whether to order this dish, stop thinking and order it. Your only mistake will be not ordering extra because you’re going to want leftovers. Final Score: ✅ Portion Size: 10/10 ✅ Flavor: 10/10 ✅ Freshness: 10/10 ✅ Fried Rice: 10/10 ✅ Value: 10/10 Overall: 11/10. This wasn’t a meal, this was a life experience. I showed up hungry and left questioning every other Chinese restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. 🔥🍚🥢🤣

The wontons taste like sugar sausage. The lo mien is good, but be prepared to dig out the massive pieces of onion. The picture is what I’ve found so far. I’d recommend China Inn Cafe on highway 6. It’s much more authentic and definitely contains less MSG. It very authentic and the wontons and eggrolls are one of a kind!!

Hands down best chinese food we have ever tasted 😋 everything was hot and absolutely delicious!!! 🔥 the only thing we wouldn't get again was the crab rangoons (too sweet for us) but they were hot & crunchy. We got so much food & it was a decent price very affordable for big families like mine ☺️🙌🏼

Amazing fresh food. Everything was super hot, made it just liked we ordered. We have been coming here for 10 years. It's really great food.

Very disappointed & disgusted with my lunch order here today. This place used to be my goto however the quality of the food here has gone way down drastically. I ordered Kung Pao chicken & it was so pathetic- the “chicken” was so bland, partially uncooked. The quality of the “meat” itself was highly questionable, it tasted like old shoes. I nearly threw up 🤮 had to throw the entire meal away because it was just inedible garbage. How can you mess up something as simple as king pao chicken? And if cost/inflation is an issue, raise your prices but atleast serve us some good food. Utterly gutted, I don’t think I’ll be back. It’s happened on more than one occasion lately so doesn’t seem like a one-off. Not sure if Imperial got new management or new chefs or something - but seems theyve hustled given up? Do not eat here folks, there’s plenty of other good Chinese spots around that may better appreciate your business. Imperial aint it no more :/
