I live in Katy, Texas … first of all, I want to tell you this location for El Rey is insane. The only thing that separates them is they have liquor and they have a full tequila bar with TVs watching all the sports games in Spanish or American and they make wonderful Mexican lattes, Mexican coffees, etc. I have my top five in the area that I live in. This might be my top one or two now and did I say for the price that you get at other restaurants for Happy Hour you can get a Casamigos margarita it’s amazing and if this weren’t first class service, I wouldn’t know the difference because the staff here fluently speaks English and Spanish and Natalia the manager is amazing and Erick GM is amazing. I’m telling you this is my new go to you guys have got to come here. The staff is amazing pleasant brand, new location, brand new restaurant. Please come here and try that mulatto coffee. It’s amazing guys. Please come and ask for these two individual specifically if I had a restaurant I would want staff just like this to run my restaurant but how about the prices with the today’s economy you get the bank for your book and you get real tequila and if you choose the frozen margaritas, they don’t have wine in them. The wine content base they’ve got actual liquor in their margaritas in 399 on Happy Hour.

Pretty consistent Cuban fast-casual restaurant. The loyalty rewards program could definitely use some work.

El Rey Taquería offers a delicious twist on Cuban and Mexican food. Best of both worlds. Portions and prices are very reasonable.

I had the Ropa Sliders and they were on point. The only disappointment was they do not serve homemade tortillas, which are a must in Texas! The cost was reasonable and I did get Miami vibes during my visit! #FlavorE

Tried El Rey Cuban & Mexican Cuisine and really enjoyed it! The Cuban sandwich was flavorful and perfectly made. The charro beans were the highlight—absolutely amazing. Everything else I ordered was good too, and the service was friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes.
