Crawfish Cafe

I've been to Crawfish Cafe multiple times when they used to be in the middle of the aisle next to Ocean Palace but they since renovated and have their own stand-alone restaurant with Pho Prime. The interior is very spacious and well decorated with plenty of seating. We came on a Monday night because we were afraid that it would be busy on the weekends, and there was still a fair amount of customers. For an appetizer, we got the Crawfish Beignets, which was highly recommended online. It came with a creamy sauce which was a bit salty and the beignets were dusted with chili powder. The filling was super creamy and moist so I did not need the additional sauce. The outside was pillowy like a beignet, perfectly fried, and crispy. We got a pound of crawfish each person with a pound of snow crab legs and a pound of king crab legs to share. I got the Thai Basil Crawfish which was heavily coated in the seasoning. The sauce was very peppery with an herby taste from the basil, and it had a good heat without being overly spicy. As suggested by our waitress, we got the king crab legs with the signature sauce (Kickin Cajun & Garlic Butter). The meat was super fat, juicy, and delicious, though the sauce was very salty. We had plain snow crab legs as recommended by our waitress with a side of melted butter. It was a great proposal as you can really taste the sweetness of the snow crab that would otherwise be overpowered by the sauces. The meat on the snow crab legs were sticking to the shell so it was a bit difficult to pry open, but we did have it last so it may have been because it had been sitting out for a while.

We had a great experience at Crawfish Cafe. The food was delicious and everything came out fresh. Our server, Jenna H, was especially wonderful — very friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. She really made our visit even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We ate at The Crawfish Cafe/Pho Prime restaurant for my daughter's birthday. The fact that they had both the crawfish/seafood option along with traditional Vietnamese Pho and other dishes was awesome. It allowed our entire party to get exactly what they wanted. Flavor across the board from Crawfish to Shrimp to Pho was full flavor and really incredible. I would be happy to return again. Note - the wait can be very long so make a reservation and get on the list beforehand. Also, sign up for points. Highly recommend Crawfish Combo, Phở Đặc Biệt, or just a couple of pounds of Crawfish. Their oysters on the half shell were delicious as well. I'll give them extra points for having a QR code on the menu that you can scan to get up to date market prices for any dish that charges market prices so you're not guessing. For dessert we had the beignets along with some egg coffee & thai tea. Which were both very good and a great way to finish off a meal. Also, very kids friendly.

Last time I was here it was pre-renovation. The update is very nice and spacious. There’s also a sink outside the restrooms, which is convenient for after meal. They also recently added outdoor seating. Rei was our server and he was great - very prompt and helpful. It’s crawfish season and the IG ads brought in a lot of customers, so service may seem slow, but it’s actually the kitchen lagging a bit behind. For good reason though. Food is as good as I remembered. Flavors seeped all the way through the crawfish. We tried the new Viet Cajun seasoning - not too salty and a bit sweet. Medium heat is perfect for the heat while still enjoying the flavor. We also ordered garlic parm wings and those were meaty and piping hot. Would come back.

We dined here for the first time tonight and had a great time! The food was great. We ordered the oyster sampler, which was super fresh and flavorful. We also got some live crawfish + shrimp and considering how late in the crawfish season it is, we were pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of most of the batch! Derek took excellent care of us and didn’t make us wait for anything. He promptly greeted us, took our order, checked on the table, refilled our drinks and brought out the check. The host was also super personable, but I didn’t get his name. Their service made a big difference in our overall experience, so we’ll be back soon!
