Cute place. Food not great- Chile En Nogada tastes like horchata (may be it’s supposed to taste like this- had never heard of this dish before), the Mexican eggs Benedict was too sweet, the rice was ok, the potatoes were excellent. The chips and salsa were DELICIOUS. Service was interminably slow. There were 4 tables and 2 waitstaff and still every step took forever. The waitress even did an interview with a candidate while we were literally sitting here waiting to place our order? Everyone was friendly. The margarita was delicious. The Bombón was quite good. Probably won’t be back, but certainly not a bad dining experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Mexican restaurant, and I have to say—it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, which immediately set a positive tone. The service throughout the meal was attentive, friendly, and professional. They were happy to explain menu items and make recommendations, which I really appreciated. The food was the true highlight. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor and clearly made with fresh, quality ingredients. The tacos and fajitas were perfectly seasoned, the guacamole was fresh and creamy, and the enchiladas had just the right balance of spice and richness. You could really taste the authenticity and love put into each plate. Beyond the food and service, the atmosphere was just as impressive. The restaurant had a cozy yet vibrant vibe, with tasteful décor and music that made the space feel lively but not overwhelming. It was the perfect setting for both casual dining and special gatherings. Overall, I absolutely loved this restaurant and will definitely be returning soon. If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food paired with great service and a welcoming ambiance, this is the place to go.

JAQUELINE TERRIBLE SERVICE Terrible service and extremely misleading. I ordered a $7 orange juice, and the server, Jaqueline, kept coming back offering more without ever mentioning that each glass would be charged separately. I ended up being charged around $60 for orange juice alone. After paying and tipping, we politely brought up the issue and were met with eye rolls, attitude, and zero accountability. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, staff acted like it was our fault for not knowing. The lack of transparency and disrespectful customer service was unbelievable. If you enjoy being overcharged and treated with attitude when you ask questions, this is the place for you.

Our second visit was an absolute delight! My husband and I were celebrating Valentine’s Day and decided on their 4 course dinner. Everything was absolute perfection. Our server Joseph was amazing! Definitely give them a try, it will not disappoint.

After being loyal customers of Cafe Di Fiore for several years, I feel compelled to share how disappointed we have become with the quality of their takeout food and, even more importantly, with how customer complaints are handled. Over time, we have repeatedly noticed that the quality of the food served for takeout is significantly inferior to what is served in the restaurant. It often feels as though takeout customers are receiving food that would never be served to diners sitting at a table. Today’s experience was the final straw. The tortillas that came with our meal were hard and stale. My Tampiqueña was not a Tampiqueña at all—it was an old, tough piece of steak full of gristle and connective tissue. The quality was frankly unacceptable, especially considering the prices charged. What was even more disappointing was the response from management. When I called to explain the issue, I expected at least an apology or some willingness to listen. Instead, the manager immediately insisted that I was wrong and repeatedly told me that I needed to drive back to the restaurant and show them the food. There was no apology, no concern for the customer experience, and no attempt to make things right. The underlying message seemed to be that they simply did not believe me. What kind of establishment treats long-time customers this way? After years of supporting this restaurant, I found it shocking that a legitimate complaint was met with denial rather than professionalism. Good restaurants make mistakes from time to time. Great restaurants own those mistakes and take care of their customers. Unfortunately, Cafe Di Fiore chose neither. Unless there is a significant improvement in both food quality and customer service, we will be taking our business elsewhere.
