Bombay Delight

I've been here twice now and, as someone who has been enjoying Aga's restaurant for years now, Bombay Delight easily meets all of the standards I've come to expect. Bombay Sandwich- a vegetarian sandwich that blew me away. The combination of textures and flavors was remarkable, and the serving size is quite generous. It may be hard to see in the picture but there are actually 4 quarters of a sandwich in the box, stacked 2x2. Comes with a bag of chips (not pictured) Lamb Korma (spice level medium+)- I haven't had a good lamb korma since Taj India closed down in northwest Houston many years ago. This one sent me on a nostalgic trip, remembering those flavors that I've been searching for for so long. Incredibly balanced with savory, spicy, creamy, and tangy notes in the sauce that makes the tender lamb chunks shine. Comes with basmati rice. Butter chicken (not pictured)- I had this the first time I tried the restaurant and was very pleasantly surprised. This is the dish that made me believe this restaurant has the same kitchen excellence as Aga's, and my return trip confirmed this. I rated the atmosphere 3 stars as there is a bit of noise from the machines (fridges, beverage dispenser, AC) and the glass front of the restaurant just faces a parking lot and highway 6. Perhaps some privacy blockers or blinds could go a long way to improve both temperature insulation and the intimacy of the restaurant. I've only eaten carry out but the service has been excellent every time - food finished right on time and very friendly staff.

The food was absolutely amazing. My gf and I went there for the first time. The restaurant itself is very clean and the staff is very friendly and quick with service. If you value high quality great Indian food, this is the place. We’ll be going back frequently to satisfy our Indian food cravings.

Very disappointing experience. The Bhindi Masala had no salt or proper seasoning. I informed the manager, but my concern was ignored and no replacement was offered. I also found a hair in the rice, which was unacceptable. Poor food quality, hygiene, and customer service.

Simply MIND BLOWING!!! We had a limited items at this location (1st timers), but everything we ordered was AMAZING!!! The Vada Pav was awesome, but the Dabeli took us back to Mumbai. The Misal Pav was to die for and my wife and I licked the last drop from the container! >100%, we are going back to try other items! (Pics are after we hogged on one each)
