Kingwood has nine places doing brunch, from waterfront tables on Lake Houston at Kings Harbor to an all-day crepe café on Kingwood Drive. This guide covers restaurants with addresses in the 77339, 77345, 77346, and 77347 ZIP codes — the master-planned community and its commercial corridors, roughly west of US-59/I-69, east of Lake Houston and Atascocita Road, and north of FM 1960 to the San Jacinto River. If you're coming from Houston proper, plan about 30 miles northeast of downtown.

Weekend mornings in Kingwood skew toward families and the post-church patio crowd. Most spots below have outdoor seating, a kids' menu, or both.

How we chose

Every pick on this list was confirmed currently open via its official website or official social media page as of October 2026. We included only restaurants that advertise brunch or a dedicated breakfast/brunch menu — not just lunch-only spots that open at 11 a.m. Hours and prices change often; verify on the restaurant's own site before you go.

Waterfront brunch at Kings Harbor

Kings Harbor is Kingwood's waterfront entertainment district on Lake Houston, at the end of West Lake Houston Parkway. Two restaurants on the same block serve weekend brunch with the lake in view.

Raffa's Waterfront Grill

Kings Harbor, 1660 W Lake Houston Pkwy #103 · Saturday–Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. (check current hours)

Raffa's calls its style “innovative and eclectic American,” which on the brunch menu means chef's specials such as pork belly and grits with a sunny-side egg, grilled salmon, and rotating seasonal plates. The lakeside patios are Kingwood's best seats for a mid-morning meal — book ahead on good-weather weekends, because they fill up. Dinner resumes at 3:30 p.m. Check raffas.net for the current brunch menu.

Sharky's Waterfront Grill

Kings Harbor, 1660 W Lake Houston Pkwy Suite 104 · Sunday brunch 11 a.m.–3 p.m.

Sharky's runs a Sunday-only brunch with a focused menu and prices that make it easy to bring the whole family: eggs Benedict ($15.99), a steak omelet with tenderloin and grilled peppers ($18.99), migas with crispy corn tortillas and black beans ($11), and mimosas at $3 a glass or $12 a carafe. The enclosed patio faces Lake Houston directly, and the kids' menu runs through brunch hours.

Worth knowing: The $12 carafe deal is one of the better mimosa values in Kingwood. Arrive by 11:30 a.m. for a patio spot on sunny Sundays. Check sharkyswaterfrontgrill.com for current hours.

The all-day breakfast and brunch spots

These three run brunch through the afternoon and work for a late morning start.

Flying Biscuit Café

4329 Kingwood Drive (Kingwood Crossing) · Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–2 p.m., Saturday–Sunday 7 a.m.–3 p.m.

Flying Biscuit does one thing well: a from-scratch Southern breakfast with biscuits made fresh every day. Order the Award-Winning Shrimp & Creamy Dreamy Grits: white cheddar grits topped with blackened shrimp in a red pepper tomato sauce, served with a biscuit and cranberry apple butter. The "Best I Ever Had" French Toast, on thick-cut bread with raspberry sauce and crème anglaise for dipping, is the runner-up. The Kingwood location opened in April 2024. See flyingbiscuit.com for current hours and menus.

Keke's Breakfast Cafe

716 Kingwood Drive (Kingwood Commons) · Daily 7 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Keke's is a breakfast-and-brunch-only concept — no dinner, ever. The Florida Pancakes come loaded with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and sliced bananas. The Stuffed French Toast is thick-cut and filled with cream cheese and a choice of apple-cinnamon or banana-caramel-pecan. No reservations; first-come, first-served. Gluten-free bread and vegan options are available. This is the first Houston-area Keke's location. See kekes.com for the current menu.

Coco Crepes, Waffles and Coffee

4525 Kingwood Drive, Suite 150 · Daily 7 a.m.–7 p.m.

Coco Crepes is the lightest option on this list: a café open seven days a week where a sweet or savory crepe and a specialty coffee counts as brunch. The Bananas Foster crepe and the tiramisu crepe cover the sweet side. On the savory end, the La Galette (roasted vegetable) and ham-and-mozzarella are reliable. It's also the only spot here open until 7 p.m., making it an option for a very late start. See cococrepes.com for the full menu.

Sit-down weekend brunch

The Union Kitchen

23918 US-59 North · Brunch Friday–Sunday; Sat–Sun from 9 a.m. (check current hours)

The Union Kitchen is one of the few Kingwood-area restaurants that runs brunch three days a week. Order the Momma's Fried Chicken and Belgian Waffle topped with peppered sausage gravy and scrambled eggs, or the Bananas Foster French Toast on thick-cut brioche with candied pecans and whipped cream. Bottomless mimosas run $10 for the brunch window. The dining room is large and there's a patio. See theunionkitchen.com for current hours and menus.

Skeeter's Mesquite Grill

4121 W Lake Houston Pkwy · Sunday brunch buffet from 9 a.m.

Skeeter's runs a Sunday brunch buffet with made-to-order omelets — an easy format for a group with mixed tastes. The à la carte menu covers breakfast enchiladas (scrambled eggs, tomatillo sauce, avocado, $10.25), huevos rancheros, thick French toast, and biscuits and gravy ($4.95). See skeetersgrill.com for current buffet pricing and hours.

Tex-Mex brunch

Lupe Tortilla

20061 Northpark Drive · Saturday–Sunday brunch 9 a.m.–2 p.m.

Lupe Tortilla's Kingwood location runs a dedicated weekend brunch menu built around its lime-marinated beef. The Lupe Frittata — beef fajita, roasted poblanos, onions, jack cheese, spicy red sauce — is the standout. For a lighter start, the avocado egg tacos on corn tortillas or huevos rancheros are both solid. The full fajita menu is available the whole time. See tex-mex.com/kingwood for current hours.

Beer-forward brunch

Brass Tap Beer Bar

4635 Kingwood Drive, Suite 800 · Saturday–Sunday 11 a.m.–2 p.m.

Brass Tap runs a weekend brunch format with 150+ beers on tap — craft to international — live music, and bar-style food. If the group cares more about the tap list than the egg preparation, this is the spot. Check brasstapbeerbar.com for the current event schedule and brunch menu.

Nico's Bar and Grill

22610 Loop 494 · Sunday bottomless mimosa brunch from 11 a.m.

Nico's is a neighborhood sports bar that does Sunday brunch with bottomless mimosas and acoustic live music. It's more casual than the dedicated brunch spots — think cornhole on the patio and burgers alongside the brunch menu — but it has a consistent local following for Sunday mornings. Check nicosbarandgrill.com for current hours.
