Safe Chimney Sweep

We had a chimney full of chimney Swifts which are a protected species so we had to wait til they left for their migration. Once they were gone, SafeFlue Experts in Houston came and did a great job with a chimney sweep to clear out the mud and twigs. It was completely blocked! Amazing service and super respectful of the wildlife laws.

Yesterday, I saw a video about chimney fires and it scared me. So, I called SafeFlue Experts to have my home checked. The tech who came said I had a lot of sticky tar in my chimney, and he scraped the bricks thoroughly. Now, after the chimney sweep, I feel much safer.

Our house has lots of big oak trees that grow right over our roof. This is especially a problem during the fall season as the leaves fall into the chimney and block it up. Fortunately, the chimney sweep went up there and took them all out. He did a good job clearing the mess.
